Probably only sure thing this offseason is the Clippers are going to lose everyone and go back to being a scrub team for the next decade or two.

Well the writing on the wall already said they were on rebuild mode. DeAndre Jordan is on the trade block and so forth. I wonder where Doc runs to.
in 10 years we'll all be part of giant radioactive waste puddles that span 100s of miles. give him 5, then trade ryan, lou a nd sergio for lebron.
This whole thing is interesting because the Raptors, Spurs, Rockets seem to be the only teams in the perfect situation to actually get him. Every other team is far back in the pecking order in the East and West and this opting out tells me that Paul wants to win. If he want to go to Spurs, LMA and Green (or Mills) are likely gone. Does that make them better? No. All the Rockets have to do is literally trade Anderson, Dekker and Harrell for non-guarenteed contracts and future picks. IF Morey is able to get the cap by shedding those guys and keeping Bev/ Lou WIll. Why wouldn't we be better? Yes, Paul has injury history but him in a fast paced MDA offense would be amazing. Imagine the lineups we could throw out there. The pace. Exciting to see which max guy we get because maybe I'm probably foolish to believe we could actually beat the Warriors.
This is some info I got combined with a bit of a conspiracy theory so Take this with a grain of salt but Chris Paul AND Blake Griffin are going to sign in Houston. They are tired of Clippers short comings and never having another star SG/SF and having the same failing roster year after year. They are both signing with Rockets to join James Harden. He's a future MVP and the best PG/SG in the league not only that he's stable to the team [Unlike a lot of teams, spurs may even lose LMA], he's committed and shows no signs of leaving, it's the most logical team for a win now scnenrio without joining another super like team and coming off cowardly. Rockets can manage to keep *Some* key pieces to there roster. with some minor sacerfices from The aging Paul and injury prone Griffin. Even though there are reports of Paul and Griffin having a sour relationship
Philly got Fultz. Sac got Fox. Denver is intriguing but they just don't have the pieces. If they were able to get Butler (people in Denver talking about this) then maybe Paul makes sense here. Atlanta is in rebuilding mode. It's clearly between Spurs, Rockets, Raptors (if Lowry leaves).
I suggest people actually listen to the Lowe post and the part where Brian talks about his. He was pretty serious about it and mystified because of the apparent "fit". He also seemed as if he heard about it a while ago when he said I know it's came out now.
