I had to front Les $5 last week at a Starbucks ... dude ordered a latte and was on his last dime ... poor guy
He needs someone to blame, because it's the only way his insider knowledge can still hold true when Morey doesn't do what he wants....because all insider news has to be about what Morey is doing on the phones....otherwise it's not insider news. Like "Morey is trying to trade Bev and get Rubio". When it doesn't happen, it's either Harden controlling the strings or now Les. Most ppl just say Morey should do this or should do that, but we aren't trying to claim insider knowledge to what Morey actually wants to do and is trying to do. holic does, hence it's a contradiction to blame Morey for not doing what 'holic said he was going to do. TL;DR
There were several picks sold at the top of the second. Normally Morey would be calling on every one of those picks.
I've said it's Harden and Les. Less has bought in to Harden being LeBron like and naming his teammates. Hasn't worked. Morey is trying to make up for that junk.
I'm genuinely impressed by this post. This is the worst take on Clutchfans in 2017. Congrats, Jopat, for that is no easy feat!
No. Les is not having financial problems. I know you really wanted Mason, Bell, Ojeley and Bolden bro, sorry we didn't pick any up. Ultimately Morery didn't view any of them high enough to trade up or buy a higher pick as he obviously could have. We got great value with Hartenstien though, he looks like he'll be a nice player.
Ok guys. Here's the only reasonable answer I can come up with as to why we didn't buy a pick last night. And that is we are planning on using that money this week to stimulate some sort of favorable transaction, whether we send it out with a player like Taylor for a future second rounder, or we convert Bev plus the cash to a decent future first rounder or we purchase some menial player or pick for 3.5 million in lieu of moving Anderson after the moratorium along with more cash available in the new season. If we executed some minor trade to the team we are going to trade Anderson then we could possibly give that team the $3.5 million we have available now plus another $5.1 million after July 1. That's a total of $8.6 million to go towards dumping Anderson's contract or enhancing Bev's or some other players value. So we'll see if we spend that money somehow over the next week.
Les is the guy who does not want us go for a Top 3 draft pick. Harden is the guy who got to pick PGs........ lol inform yourself.... I kid
