Thought it was interesting to see both Hawkins and Pig Miller player for the Globetrotters against Syracuse on ESPN2 right now.

Also saw Cedric Ceballos on the Globetrotters.

Now they just need Moochie to complete the deck. He would be the perfect Globetrotter with all that dribbling...

How sad. Is that the afterlife when your career dies? To play for the Globetrotters?

I liked the Hawk. He didn't mind doing the dirty work.

Random fact: Hawkins was in the movie "Like Mike" (the movie with lil bow wow). He played one of the players on the Raptors in the last game. You see for about five seconds, smiling (even though in the movie the team just lost the 8th seed playoff spot).

I remember reading that Hawkins played for the Globetrotters before he joined the Rockets

WoW, someone got little too much time to burn.

Anyways, good for Hawk, I was surprised that no one picked him up, but this might be a good thing, give him a season to improve on his shooting, he'll be a nice role player someday.
