I didn't walk away from that game feeling like Cleveland figured something out about Golden State. It was mostly hot shooting. Golden State didn't totally unravel either. However, LeBron has beast mode. And so does Kyrie Irvin. We are unclear if anyone on Golden State has this killer mode despite way more talent. This isn't a slam dunk. They could easily go beast mode for 3 more games with the extra days off.

22 ft in the 1st qtr? I was thinking if the Warriors would have anyone left to play by 4th with the way it was called then. I guess they realized it's too obvious, so they gave the Cavs bench player a T.

Love hit KD's head & face twice on the same play, cannot believe anyone would argue that.

Zaza's play was hard to see what happened because two Cavs were on top of him. The ref looked at the replay. they must found something to justify what Zaza was doing.

All in all this is THE worst officiated NBA game I have ever watched.

What? I can believe anyone would defend that call. It was clearly the follow through on his attempted block which was directed at the ball. What game did you watch?

Not a flagrant foul in the slightest. Just because you get touched in the face does not mean a foul is automatically flagrant. Draymond Green's foul on Love a few minutes later was far more severe and dangerous.

I'd say in today's soft league, that's pretty much what it has come down to though sadly.

Anyone think that, if the Cavs lose today's game, LeBron can win FMVP?

Assuming LeBron goes off for a monster statline in a loss...

Man, if somehow, somewhat, Cavs could pull this game off, the pressure on GSW will start to be insane.

I'm a basketball junkie, and I'm not going to watch 100% of the game tonight.
But if the Cavs win tonight, game 6 will be insane can't miss basketball.

    As for the FT thing...

Didn't Steph get 10 FTs in the first quarter of Game 2? Yes, he did. Though the GSW didn't have much more overall. But just pointing out, sometimes things happen, home cooking, whatever.

Turnovers will be big tonight... as usual when you're playing against the Warriors.

Random interesting thing - Channing Frye is getting no PT. For all the Rockets fans so concerned about keeping Anderson and needing a pure stretch 4. I mean, sure, of note, the Cavs are still down 3-1, AND Kevin Love is a mini stretch 4 himself anyway..... but the point to me is you still really have to have some bigs that can play BIG... even if you want/need that big to be able to stretch the floor as well.
