Harden and Ariza got into a fight after game 5, hence Harden's game 6 performance.

lol. Are you thinking any organization is going to come out and say: "we were blown out in game 6 because one of our players was upset and gave up?"

not at all... but i am shocked at the total lack of commentary from within the organization... I havent gone looking for quotes, but I figure if DM or Les or MDA had something more to say, it would be posted here... or even players venting.... Rox always do a real good job of not airing their dirty laundry...

I just figured we'd at least have DM out there doing some damage control... "There were some frustrations towards the end of the Spurs series... but nothing we're not going to grow from as team... We know the adjustments we need to make to contend further into the playoffs..."

    PR speak...

You must have missed the quotes that stated that the teams game plan was to go to Howard less.

Howard then cried like the baby he has continually proven to be.

Keep making it about Harden though.

The whole part about Howard was another poster saying that this was this was first year James had "full control" ... and that he didnt have "full control" with Howard around... I would say James had more control with weak willed JBB as HC than MDA... Howard was irrelevant as far as who was calling the shots - obviously he had no pull... lol
I gotta believe JBB is a blatant example of a coach having no control... MDA still doesnt have the stones that someone like Pops or Big Chief Triangle would... but I gotta think he's got at least more control than JBB did... lol

Some people want to discount the end of this season as isolated events....
Call the sh*t show of a season last year all about Howard...
Call the record setting meltdown against GS an anomaly...
James is a great talent... but Idk why people want to treat him like MJ, Kobe or LeBron... he's a player - a really good player... but can people stop acting like he's the second coming... lol

I'm hoping someone mentioned JH and TA are good friends.. Even if there was a fight , I doubt it'll have long term consquences.

Ariza probably told Harden to man up after game 5 and be like Kobe but Harden will never have that killer mindset and will never win an MVP but will still go to the media and say he's the best player in the NBA.

You got me good with that John Wall comment. He's not coming to Houston so Harden is to blame. I never said superstars are lining up for us. But superstars aren't lining up for anyone besides Golden State and a one or two other markets. Hell Paul George didn't even seem too pleased at the idea of going to Boston. 28 teams will probably fail in acquiring a superstar this summer...Harden is to blame

    1- I don't buy it

2- even if true, the reaction is mountain-of-a-molehill territory. They clearly weren't fisticuffing or that would've been national news.

3- there are 2 explanations I'll accept. A- james knew it was done. He was beat up. He was tired. He gave everything he had and fell short and game 6 was a formality. B- James's harden owed money to serious people. That's a little far fetched but exists in a "it could happen" sense.

4- I'm pretty well over the nitpicking this site does. Acting like harden isn't one of the best players around. Acting like we have a real shot at anything while Lebron James and gsw can stockpile superstars. We get to be one of the better teams around. Be happy about it or be foolish.

5- also if it is true good,.....competitors are not supposed to like losing.

I would fist fight Harden if i was ariza...That pussiie gets pay 30m a year to give up. He thinks he own the city of houston. He knows he will still get money if he go somewhere else. I hate these kind of people. I really do we trade his loser asss soon.

I believe James is still trying to prove himself. He is still learning how to play with a Team. When the tough gets going he resorted to not trusting his teammates. Look at the Spurs. That team is ALL built on trust. It takes adversity to create trust. This is basically a new team. New coach. New style. It doesn't happen in 1 season. If we keep this team together for another season we will be unstoppable even with the roster we have now. The spurs are old and just plain did not have the man power. Trust alone got them to WCF.

    Wow!

Soooooo a friend of mine who works for the Rockets organization and is in the know basically confirmed this. I casually slipped into our conversation that I heard that Trevor and Harden got into a fight at the end of game 5 and he looked at me with shock in his eyes... "how do you know that?" "Where did you hear that?" "How did you know it was after game 5?" My dude was speechless. I told him all I read on here and he confirmed everything.

The Trevor Ariza James Harden beef rumor is real.

Trevor was upset at James for forcing the last shot in game five. He felt that he should've passed it off to Gordon or to him. Trevor went off on James in the locker room so James basically conceded his offense in game six. James probably wanted to prove to everyone that even without Kawhi this team needs him to be aggressive and to dominate the ball. No wonder he only took 2 shots at half and passed up so many shots.

The word is that Trevor thinks that James is a ball hog. And that Trevor Ariza actually wants the ball more despite the organization pointing out that he's not a good creator and that he's best with wide-open shots. I'm told me the Rockets are looking to trade Trevor or another key player who I won't mention in hopes of landing a big fish. He mentioned who the Rockets were targeting but I don't know that I should release that kind of info.

I wish I could. I feel like it's obvious but I just don't feel like it would be right to potentially hurt what the team wants to do this summer!

Lol! Oh man I really do want to say but I am so nervous about ruining any potential summer plans people in the organization getting upset and I am actually still shocked that it's true. I really didn't believe that they would have that kind of beef
