Didn't know if I saw it perfectly in full speed. But I thought this was pretty clear foul by Draymond on Kevin Love going up for a layup. Cavs up 6 with 2:44 left, should have had free throws by Kevin Love. Pretty clear reach and hack by Draymond IMO. Would have slowed down the game and put additional distance. HUGE CALL to go against the Cavs

    It's at the 7m 40s mark.

people really forget how good they are without durant.

they still have an MVP / scoring champion, an all nba 20 ppg two way scorer / shooter, and a trible double threat DPOY candidate stretch 4. and as a team still play elite defense.

they handled the rockets with ease in 2 game sin 4 nights without durant.

The more telling game was the one the night after they beat the Rockets at Toyota Center. On a B2B vs a well-rested Spurs team, the Warriors were down by over 20 points in the first half without Durant. They came back in the 2nd half and wound up blowing out San Antonio on their home floor.

We can trade Ryno for him. They are both prototype stretch 4s, right? :)

You're right. LeBron should take post fadeaways against double teams, and try to finish against 3+ defenders when the entire defense collapses on him when he's driving.

I bet you had a ton of fun watching James Harden take WESTBROOK/KOBE/JORDAN-mentality step back threes to singlehandedly lose us game 5 in the 3rd quarter right?

LeBron tried non-stop iso in 2015. It didn't work.

LeBrons defense has always been above average, but it's been exaggerated for quite some time. He hasn't been an elite all time defender in like 8 years. From 2006 to 2010, he was amazing. The rest of his career? Above average, and has been trending downward the past 4 years. One big highlight block doesn't change that. His defense is mostly based on the theory that he's so big and so strong and so athletic that "he can guard every position!" without any actual proof of him doing it for any extended period of time...it all started when he defended DRose that one time in the playoffs....DRose has no jumpshot and had no shooters to pass to.

Sad thing is LeBron is mostly staying away from defending Durant (apparently in order to conserve energy) but when he does, Durant scores at will on him while at the same time, Durant isn't shying away from defending Lebron every possession.

    ---------------------

On another note....watched the last few min again...LeBron shying away from attacking the wide open basket with only Green and his 5 fouls on him.....opts to pass it for a corner 3 to Korver i think? Even Magic Johnson who is a purer point guard would have taken it upon himself. LeBron is 32 and has no go to move other than bulldoze his way to the basket and even then this league is hand made for little guys to be able to get wide open lay ups...a man LeBrons size can't be stopped. Yet LeBron stops himself in order to get his nice assists stats.

Another thing that's bugging me is the constant comments about how he's never faced such a team with so many weapons, etc etc..yeah man...we know...they are amazing, you don't have to remind us. It's like he's been making excuses since before game 1 just so he doesn't get blame. "Were not expected to win, they might be the greatest team ever, so it's not my fault." He went into this series with the wrong mentality from the get go. This is one of those scenarios where he had to be the 1 man hero. Forget about stuffing the stat sheet. Attack. Attack. Attack. They won't stop him. Then it opens up his jumper. Then it makes the pass out to the shooters much easier.

It damn near did work WITHOUT Kyrie and Love....

and against THIS team? What the hell is there to lose?

Don't even bother with last year...last years Warriors at full health were down 1-3 in the WCF and at full health were up 3-1 in the Finals. The CAVS aren't going to luck into the Warriors losing their starting C, losing Draymond for a game, Iggy being hurt, and Harrison Barnes playing like absolute garbage.

Game 3 ratings were expected to be high, since most people were looking at a Cavs victory at home.

If game 4 ratings continue to be record highs, then I will change my entire outlook for the NBA and its economics.

What's a better selling story for the NBA?

Warriors sweeping the playoffs in dominant fashion. (Something that might never happen again.)

    OR

CAVS with another historic comeback. (0-3 comeback has never happened before.)

Don't doubt these refs. They can make anything happen. A Cavs win at home and a close game 5 at Oracle and ratings will sky rocket.

i wonder how cavs fans feel about tristan thompson.

probably the same way rockets fans felt about ryan anderson.

you can't be making $15 million a year and get outrebounded by steph curry. that's just unacceptable.

That's on LeBron helping his buddy get paid remember? Everyone knew Tristan wasn't worth that much. CAVS need to get rid of Tristan, JR Smith and Shumpert and somehow get Melo and they might have cap for some younger athletes. They'd probably be better off trading Love for a beast C rebounder and defender and move LeBron to PF like Miami did.

well tristan when he's rebounding was very valuable for the cavs so it makes sense why they wanted him. not to many offensive rebounders like tristan when he's playing at the the level we're accustomed too.

i don't see melo making the cavs much better on both ends. he's declining offensively and he doesn't make them better defensively.

they really messed up letting mozgov go. he was valuable for the cavs.

Adam silver and the zionist that run the nba you can tell have an affection for curry. Thats how he won his first mvp over harden.

Then the league allows curry and the warriors to break 70 wins. But the worst of all was curry being voted unanimous mvp when past players like lebron or jordan didnt get that honor

Now the league alllows them to sign kd and have an undefeated playoffs

Im worried curry is gonna steal durant fmvp due to politics

Tristan gives you nearly identical output that Horace Grant got you. Both elite offensive rebounders. Problem was Horace Grant wasn't making a **** ton of money to do that. What happened to role players making role player money? So many teams paying role player specialists 18-20 mil a year. It's insane.
