Klay Thompson is like a kitchen faucet. Either hot or cold, he gives you a bunch of points, no steals, assists or rebounds

He also gives you very good defense regardless of his shooting. This is what makes him a great player. He still contributes if his shot isn't falling and he'll not miss too many wide open shots so can't just leave him open even if he is cold.

Tyronn Lue sucks as a coach... yeah let's keep running up and down and shoot quick shots like the first 2 games. That worked out nicely coach.

Meh he tries, but superstars like harden aren't bothered by him when they are locked in. Drayton bothers the Westbrook's and hardens of the world far more than klay. Isn't klay like 132nd defensive box plus minus among guards

Yes, but it's better than running LeBron into the ground with heavy minutes and all the responsibilities on offense.

The Cavs need to throw caution to the wind and try something different or else this will be a sweep. LeBron is playing at legendary mode yet that won't be enough to win a single game.

Mannnn. Lebron doing everything to keep the Cavs in this.

But it looks like just a matter of time. Once Lebron stops shooting 90%, the Warriors will take over.

Can't just look at stats as they are deceptive. You have to look at who he is guarding and how much more effort he causes the offensive player to exert even if he scores.

For example, if Irving is scoring but has to exert more energy to shake Klay it would affect his energy level further into the game and also his energy for defense. But these things won't show up on the stats (or at least not in a way that credits Klay).

Wasn't Kawhi not in the top 50 in defensixe plus minus this year? I still don't love the defensive metrics

looking just like the first 2 games.

cavs hanging on by a thread in the first half only for the warriors to blow the top off the building in the 2nd half.

Gotta admit. The first half of these games are just incredibly fun. Such high level basketball execution.

Too bad the second halves are all blowouts.

The last few possessions show why Cavs can't run with Warriors. The tempo back and forth was too much.
