i think Piatkowski is gonna be a huge asset if he gets 20 minutes or so - just wondering when he's gonna be ready to go.

He's been on the IR which means you have to miss at least 5 games. Guess what, 5 games are up now.

I think I heard that EP was close but not there yet.

AGriff I think was ahead of EP and I wouldn't be surprised if he is on the bench against Miami.

I called up Matt Jackson on the 610 Post Show after the Orlando game.
He said he spoke with Pike and he said it might be a week before he returns ;)

Who's going to get "hurt" when he returns? Mike Wilks with a wicked hangnail?

Well Piatkowski looks all right. His knee brace was taken off..

He shot a bunch of shots before the game on Saturday against the Magic...

he made most of them...just like Wilks and Mobley and Braggs.

And he like ran back and forth the baseline from the Rockets side to the Magic side and he was doing all these light drills...like stretching and jumping stuff...very slowly...he looks strong

Why was he wearing a knee brace in the first place? Wasn't his injury just an ankle sprain?

Wow, we will be the Utah Jazz pretty soon! :D

Here's to a fast return by Pike. I always enjoyed watching him hit downtown Freddy Brown 3's while he was here in LA with the Clippers and hope that he brings the same excitement to Houston. If Mobes and Francis continue with their good 3 Pt shooting of late, we will be a fun team to watch!

I don't want to sound racist or anything, but why in the heck do the Jazz always have so many white guys? I've always thought that maybe their upper-management and whatnot kind of edit trades and general acquisitions so that the racial makeup of their team could mirror that of their city as closely as possible. They're perennially the whitest team in the NBA and I'm sure Salt Lake City is one of the whitest cities in the NBA. Too much of a coincidence for me.

Okay, I just went to the scariest site on the net and found out that Utah has 8 pigment impaired individuals on their team. They only have 13 total players...now that has to be a record of some sort.

Not to forget the Celtics of a few decades ago. Didn't think much about it at the time though. It probably has more to do with marketing than anything else but that in itself is a loaded issue.
I am just glad we got some good players able to contribute in Piatkowski, Boki and Padgett. I'd take a Martian if he could hit the 3 consistently and play some D!

    This is how racism starts...

So yes u are being racist...now come on...

How many top tier black players have you heard in the last decade say they want to play for the Jazz? Errr..other then Karl Malone?

If anything I don't think black players want to play in Utah. On top of that it's cold, in the middle of no where, and probably boring as heck. Would u want to live in Salt Lake City if you had a choice?

Also, imagine Utah did draft a stud basketball player who happened to be black...what do u think of the chances of that player resigning with the Utah Jazz once his contract is over? Or do u suppose he would rather sign with the Lakers, Kings, Mavs, Rockets..etc...

Utah would love to have Kobe, Tmac, etc... play in Salt Lake city..but do these players want to play in Utah...heck NO!!!

SLC is actually a pretty nice city, and there is plenty to do. I lived there for three years and loved it. It sits right at the base of the mountains, has excellent skiing and some nice restaraunts. It seems to get a bad rap from many ignorant people that have never been there. No, its not southern California, but there is only one of those.

Do you think NBA players like to hike mountains and ski in their leisure time? :p

No, I think it's going to be Meech with chronic back pain. You see the jugs he have to carry around.

Could it be because their local religion stuff (do not know the correct name - mormones?) are more appealing to white folks?
