Yeah there's a 100% chance the OP bought something from a 3rd party seller or something that was backordered. PSA: check fakespot & camelcamelcamel before buying something on Amazon.
Checked the number of Amazon warehouses and you brehs don't have enough of em, would explain it. Amazon USA really needs to step their game up.
Prime is easily worth the money, and Amazon still has great customer service. With that said, I'm pretty unimpressed with Amazon's "AMZL_US" shipping service so far.
Prime is awesome. I complain to them if I don't get two day shipping and they listen and give me a free month. If I complain here as a free member, all I get are people negging me for First World Problems
That's because amazon logistics is full of clueless dip ***** or straight up thieves who dont give a flip if you get your item on time or not, or at all because everyone knows amazon will replace items never received. I've made sure a/l is the last shipping option for my shipping preferences.
Prime is awesome. Any time I shop, I check the 'prime only' box and avoid any shipping delays. I've never had a problem returning anything. I've returned anything from a bike with a bent tire to a bag of undershirts that didn't fit. Process is always very easy and with the undershirts, they told me to just keep them and they refunded my money the next day. I didn't even have to speak with anyone, just sent an email. (why do people still call customer service when you can do anything online in a fraction of the time?) Prime pays for more than just fast shipping. I've recently discovered Prime Music and deleted Spotify, Pandora, iHeartRadio and every other music app from my phone. And just started using Prime Photos to back up all of my pics. Much easier than Google photos or any other backup app out there. And it's all free.
It does suck. Like $7.99 or some bullsh!t for shipping and the tax too! I'm already a amazon VOD subscriber or whatever the *** they call it just not adding more money to the prime ****.
Many times I get it the next day if it is an item in the Houston area warehouse. I am not sure why any wouldn't be an Amazon Prime member.
They gave you an ETA of June 8-15, it is June 6th. WTF are you b****ing about? You are the one who opted for the free shipping. If that delivery date didn't work for you, you could have canceled your order... stop whining. If the item was in stock, and you received free shipping, it will be there within the estimated dates. How soon you get it depends on where the item is, in comparison to where you live. Remember, part of the shipping process is the "handling" aspect as well. If you don't pay for expedited shipping, your order isn't going to be processed and shipped on the same day, or maybe not even in the first day or two. Amazon Prime members, pay the salaries of the people who expedite their orders. It is no different than paying a premium to skip the line at a theme park, or sitting in the lower bowl at a Rockets game. you get what you pay for. Want to sit in the cheap seats? Well, your ass is walking up to the upper deck and you will be sitting assholes to elbows with your fellow fans. I've ordered thousands of packages on Amazon, and have only had one package show up late, and one package that disappeared. I received full refunds on both orders (one of which was $400) without question, and they even let me keep the $20 item I received late with the refund.
Well if they give me a expected date of June 8-15, knowing Amazon's history of great customer service, I was expecting that I'd get it closer to June 8 and not June 15. The fact that it hasn't shipped yet tells me that it won't get here on June 8. That's why I am saying Amazon used to be much better before they decided to only care about Prime members. 5 years ago I could expect my shipment on June 8. Actually 5 years ago I would have received my shipment by now. Amazon fell off.
Dude, it is JUNE 6TH! They have no control on delivery once an order is processed. Lower-end shipping all comes down to freight routes. The freight routes will determine when you get your package based upon which Amazon fulfillment center it is coming from.
I know for a fact that I will not get my order on June 8th. It says that they won't get it shipped until June 9th. At minimum they need to revise their estimated delivery date, why does it still say June 8-15? If I get my order on June 8 or 9, I will apologize to Amazon.
Are you sure you didn't order an item that was on backorder? Did it say, "In Stock" or did it say "Available June 8-15th?" If it was in stock, it would be shipped before the estimated delivery date. My bet is that you ordered an item that wasn't in stock. So, they have an estimated shipping date to them from the item's distributor, and that is what they based their shipping estimate on.
