By February, Eddie Griffin will be back in the mix and productive as ever. He's young, imature, needy, but he won't be a write off. Eddie is smarter than everyone gives him credit for. He knows basketball is his calling and won't be gone for long. Everyone has tough times in their lives, most of which is mearly a passing phase. Trust me, this will all be water under the bridge come February.

    I'll take that bet.

What do you want to put on the line?

You never know, perhaps Eddie will realise he is basically on the vurge of loosing millions of dollars and rethink his attitude about playing hard and being disciplined.

Who is his advisor anyways? Hopefully they aren't getting paid cause they absolutely suck.

But I guess it all works out for the Rockets. At least they know not to flash their money his direction.

Do you really think that after all his years of playing the sport of basketball that he'll throw in the towel? I don't know that much about Eddie but I bet basketball has been his life for as long as he can rememebr. You just don't give something like that up.

He'll be back. What's the latest w/ his legal situation? Have charges been filed? That could drag on for a while, but he'll be back.

No, I'm just more pessimistic than you.

But I'd still take that bet.

He will come back and straighten up his act. Oh! and I would expect him to be even better than he was at the court. He must proved himself that he is worth to keep!!:D

i predict he will never play for this team ever again. he will be traded for a conditional second round pick in the future years to some team in the east . Probably 76ers or NY. Kinda funny seeing Kt and EG on the same team again. Then espn will highlight his wonderful play on the Ny team and shove it down our throats for tossing him out in the trash for nothing

You're probably right. He'll be jacking up 3's in Atlanta or Orlando.

I predict that Eddie will be back...earning his contract 10 days at a time.

Dude, the guy didn't stay in proper conditioning over the summer. Just what kind of shape do you think he will be in? Eddie will need to spend the next summer rededicating himself to B-Ball if he want to contribute.

As for this year, I don't want him playing into shape at the expense of the Rockets. He hasn't earned the priviledge to play. Give the precious minutes to PF's who actually cherish them.
