Woods told authorities that he was coming from Los Angeles after a golf outing and did not know where he was. He then changed his story, according a probable cause affidavit. Police noted that Woods was cooperative, but his speech was "extremely slow and slurred, mumbled and confused." Woods was booked into jail at 7 a.m. Monday morning and released from custody at 10:50 a.m. under his own recognizance. He took two breathalyzer tests and scored .000. Woods is scheduled for an arraignment hearing July 5. Spoiler
Out of curiosity, are the arrest reports like that available for every arrest? I assume yes, but curious.
Police give DWIs/DUIs for having your key in the ignition. Can't say it's quite injustice since manslaughter is much worse... but that's the system.
Well it looks like a bad reaction to prescription drugs, he just had back surgery in April. Slap on the wrist, and he will be fine. DD
You do realize he was just as much of a danger behind the wheel (and perhaps more so) than they typical drunk - correct? Folks are responsible for what they put into their bodies. He should not be driving after taking any of those prescription meds listed on that report. He knows that. He put a lot of lives at risk. Should be treated just as harshly as any DUI offender.
But he was not driving I have had my fun with TIGER .. . but now I am moving on. Hope he gets better and back to his stride. . . . . Rocket River
