Not to mention Nash is due to a raise next year, if he ever stays a mav.

Trading two talented CLASS ACTS for two talented HEADCASES? If it's true, Cuban is playing with fire.

Portland could use two guys like Mo'Taylor and Eddie Griffin.

This is a good trade for both teams. Although I must disagree with most of you, I think Dallas is the winner of this trade in terms of wins and losses.

The best player in the trade is Sheed by a long shot. Sheed could have been and still can be a true superstar in the NBA. The guy had a turn around fad away jump shot that is nearly impossible to stop (see Portland 2001).

If Dallas can get Sheed they will then have that player who can break down a defense in the paint and score at will 15 ft away or closer from the basket.

The other players in the deal: Wells, Jamison, and Finley are all in the same class. They are good but nothing outstanding except for their contracts.

If I was Dallas, I would do this trade and hope that Sheed stops being such an a$$hole. Sometimes u have to take a chance even if taking that chance is in the form of an egotistical jerk.

Isn't trepidation where you drill holes in your skull and have "utmost mind clarity" while you trip 24/7? Or is that "trepination?

Bad trade for Dallas, unless they want to do it for financial reasons... which is not it.

Portland should do this.... it's definitely in their favor IMHO.

Why is it bad for Dallas?

Rasheed for Jamison is balanced. Finley isn't doing great this season. In fact, I think this season is the season where Finley abruptly fades away. His time has come. So Wells for Finley is not too bad.

Chemistry problem? You mean there's no chemistry problem now?

But Nowitzki wouldn't be able to handle those two thugs though......

True, Finley isn't doing well. But he is still better than Wells.

    Finley:
    ppg 10.7
    fg% .364
    rpg 5.1
    apg 2.6
    bpg 0.29
    topg 1.43

    Wells
    ppg 11.5
    fg% .350
    rpg 4.5
    apg 4.0
    bpg 0
    topg 2.17

Not to mention Finley's career numbers are much better than Wells.

Actually, careerwise, Finley is more comparable to Wallace. And Jamison is better than Wells. However you look at it, talent and character, Dallas is at the short end. Anyway, they are not going to do it. I guess Cuban and Nellie aren't that stupid.

bad trade for dallas. with al the scorers on that team they need somebody who doesn't care about stats and is willing to sacrifice his touches for others to play good. Finlay is that kind of player, Wells and wallace haven't shown me that they are a that kind of player. so if i was dallas i would not trade finley, also i would keep jamison if i was dallas, trade antoine walker if you want to trade
