Who's taking the Durant challenge? - If you don't like it, don't watch it

I like Cleveland better because of Durant. Durant and Westbrook had GS down 3-1. The playoffs were so fun. Durant ruined that. Durant joined the best regular season EVER. Lebron joined up with a couple dudes who had never played a playoff game. I see your point but to say there is no difference is funny

The NBA is going to manufacture as close a series as possible for the finals. They are so good and have the balls to do so even though there are expectations of this. Granted, it could happen that the teams are evenly matched and no official interference is necessary. Unless GS or Cle just gets insanely hot I think it will be a long series, but you never know. GS just has too much talent and if they are hitting its going to be tough for even CLE to hang with them.

 

This. Finals will be great the rest of the playoffs have been garbage.

 

I haven't watched a single GS playoff game. 15 years from now, I hope hall of fame voters punish this clown, but I tend to doubt it.

 

As much as I want to see LeBron kick the Warriors ass, I have a bad feeling that it'll be easy for the Warriors.

 

I really want to see Bron keep destroying the Celtics, but I have no desire to watch game 4 of the GS-SA series.

 

last year was the first time I was cheering for lebron, 99.9% because of the factory of sadness that was cleveland and hoping they'd overcome. Now I want the warriors with Durant to sweep them just so lebron can feel how annoying it is to take the easy way out.

 

I've probably watched 90% less Warriors this season. Last couple years they were compelling to root against. This year I've been totally indifferent. Feels like I'm watching some globetrotters nonsense. Finals should be good though, must watch

 

If you aren't watching Lebron right now, I feel like you should think twice. GUys like Lebron don't come around often. One of these days we will miss him.

I haven't watched more than a combined 10 minutes of the GSW and Cavs this whole playoff run. I don't plan on watching the finals also

My NBA watching season was pretty much done after the first quarter of game 6 Rockets vs Spurs.

 

Agree with this, it's not unlike having watched Tiger Woods in his prime. Probably never going to happen again.

 

I don't think fans need an entitled athlete to tell them they don't have to watch a form of entertainment which does not actually provide entertainment.

Funny, because all businesses make money on the margin. The NBA isn't exactly some necessary staple of human existence. If the league loses even 10% of its viewership, it may be game over when the next round of broadcasting contracts are being negotiated.

 

I haven't watched A game of the wcf or ecf. I'll tune in to watch LeBron win the chip again though

 

Same thing happened in South FL when the Panthers had that one run with the year of the rat. Don't worry, they won't care about hockey at all in a couple years.

exactly. I will make sure to at least catch the last five minutes of every game and the fourth quarters as long as its close. I will have them on in the background and if it's a blowout then I'll turn it off

this is the NBA season. These two teams are the NBA right now, we watched an entire season but these are the only games that actually matter. durant ruined several series in the west between the thunder, spurs, and warriors. so this is it.

 

I'm waiting for that sweet, sweet Summer League, y'all.
