I used to think he was tight. He was always goofy. Is he still in the NBA? Whats your favorite hasheem memory? Drop THABEET on 'em
I think this thread and article: http://csnbbs.com/post-5454621.html <-- look at this one first https://theundefeated.com/features/...fuses-to-give-up-on-going-back-to-the-league/ The dawning of @hasheemthedream “Hasheem knows that no one feels sorry for him, so he’s not feeling sorry for himself,” Durant told The Undefeated. “He’s one of the hardest workers and by far one of the best people that I know. He’s one of the best teammates I’ve ever had." -- Kevin Durant November 2016
Hasheem, Royce White, and Daniel Orton have all been ejected from Summer League games. What do they all have in common? Spoiler
My lasting Hasheem Thabeet memory was when the Rockets acquired him and Rick Adelman said "I don't know what I'm supposed to do with him?"
1st thing that comes to mind is that he was a huge bust and Memphis f*cked that 1 up big time Imagine if they had taken Harden instead? Conley Harden *insert SF* Zbo Gasol
Imagine if they had taken Harden instead?
And then traded him to the Rockets to make cap room for the great chandler parsons.
Yeah, I remember reading somewhere that Adelman told Morey, "Do you want me to get fired?" after Morey traded Battier for Thabeet while they were fighting for the last playoffs spot. Sure enough, he was let go after the season.
My memory is of him DOMINATING Texas A&M in the tournament simply by standing near the basket the entire game.
