I was really surprised by Simmons. Is he a version of Pat Beverley, a great find of a guy who didn't make it to the league until age 26--a guy who does not have great talent but has a lot of heart and is not afraid to step up when needed?
Don't tell me to be grateful. I wasted an entire season watching most of the games, just to have Harden back stab me and the entire Rockets organization. If I had a crystal ball at the beginning of this and saw Harden throwing game 6, I would not have wasted all those hours for nothing. Give me back all my time and money I wasted.
F-uck all you Harden apologist. How much money is he paying yall to come on here to defend his sorry azz? Or are you guys his relatives?
1) Pringles turned out to be better than expected, but big flaws in his coaching philosophy remain, and a 1st round exit was the scenario we were hoping to avoid; a bit disappointing ...but the regular season surpassed expectations ...for whatever that's worth 2) i somewhat agree, but the Anderson signing was a big mistake and we mismanaged the DMo situation going back years (getting nothing for that asset) 3) agreed 4) agree, but he also burned him out 5) Harden is the man 6) Agree that overall we outperformed expectations in the regular season. We under-performed in the playoffs. 7) I agree that we cannot trade Harden. Our fate is tied to the Beard. I wasn't always certain of this, but i am after this season. Yes, we should be grateful for outperforming expectations going into the season, but another disappointing playoff performance and a 1st round exit is the mediocrity treadmill we want to avoid. Morey needs to work some magic this offseason if we are going to get to that next level.
The emotion of betrayal we feel is similar but thats where the consistency ends imo A lying cheating girl isnt the same as a mentally rattled underperforming/choking athlete.
Translation=We as Rockets fans have officially accepted being a great regular season team and not doing anything in the playoffs, every year under Morey/Harden

Fair enough. But it depends on what theory you believe why Harden played the way he did in Game 6. I tend to agree with those who say that Harden is a highly talented but mentally weak player. God forbid, but in some ways, he is like TMac.
Leave it to a crew member to restore sanity around here. Look, it was an ugly ending, but the future looks very bright.
Cheat on a girl, you can blame it on the vodka, blame it on your bros, blame it on something. Forget your anniversary, Mother of Jesus there's hell to pay. The only thing worse, forgetting her birthday. Or hell, remembering her birthday, then asking her what she wants, she says "nothing", of course, then you get her nothing and she's all pissed. At some point, I just wish I cheated, at least I would have gotten some strange out of it.
