Having Tracy "It's On Me" McGrady call you out is equivalent to being lectured by Vernon "I Quit" Maxwell on what it takes to have "The Heart of A Champion". Both of these assholes need to go somewhere and STFU.
Of all the people who have something negative to say about Harden (and his performance last night) McGrady is THE LAST PERSON TO BE POPPING OFF!!! Don't know what world this dude is living in, or what color the sky is in this world, but he needs to look in the damn mirror!!
C'mon, leave Max out of this. Without him there's no Clutch City. Whatever issues he had with Rudy T and Clyde during the Utah series in '95 are water under the bridge now. He's made his peace with the org and he's finally back. Besides, Max's bball killer demeanor -- especially in elimination games -- is the polar opposite of T-Mac's and Harden's. Don't go there.
"Harden quit because he was afraid of flying to Oakland for the Western Conference Finals." - Royce White
Yup he made peace with the team, the fans and heavily involved in his sons basketball ambitions. A bunch of us met Max recently and he was absolutely grateful for Rockets fans. He's also in great shape too unlike Steve Francis
who cares what mcgrady says. I will always like harden. I always had a soft spot for left handed players. being a lefty myself its just cool to see a creative lefty out there wrecking. Most of the posters who gave up on harden will be back. I'm not ditching him. It's fair to criticize me for homerism and stuff like that, I get it but harden is the man. he will dark muse and be back
LOL while Harden sucked it up Game 6, who the **** is T-Mac to be talking about embarrassment? Man literally got booed by every city he went back to.
http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/19365524/james-harden-embrace-strategic-rest Interesting article, sorry if already posted. ESPN writer thinks Harden was just worn out, and the below is really interesting/telling. From the eye test, Harden looked slow (jogging slowly up court while everyone else runs). Pull up data on NBA.com, and you'll see that Harden dragged along at a snail's pace in Game 6 with an average speed of 3.36 miles per hour. That was the slowest of any player who played at least 10 minutes in the game. Overall, Harden has seen his average speed fall from 3.68 in the regular season to 3.53 in the postseason. But LeBron James had maintained his speed at 3.75, despite six straight NBA Finals. It gets worse, the next slowest guy, Eric Gordon, registered 3.97 miles per hour, according to the player tracking data, which means that Harden was moving 50 feet per minute slower than the next slowest guy. Consider the tickling fact that Jonathon Simmons could have laid down for six straight minutes on the floor, and he still would have covered more ground than Harden in equal minutes.
Les gave the executive order for the Rockets to throw the game... He's wants the press to stop talking about. When Les don't want to think about his Rockets anymore and wants to wrap it up he does... Not just Harden but the entire team made throwing the game too obvious. Namely Ryan Anderson dribbling the ball on his ankle.. Bev not going after rebounds sometimes right in front of him and Gordon throwing the ball out of bounds as well. They all got paid an undisclosed amount to end the series. Les made his target amount of money and didn't want to go on further and probably is good friends with the Spur's owner. It was an obvious fix....
Poll - Which case sounds worse? Player A faces injury and hobbled, quits Player B perfectly well, quits
