I know a lot of people think montrezl can't grab rebounds, but he's big enough to box out these guys and keep them out of the paint so his teammates can grab them. That's the only way the Rockets we're going to get rebounds.

ESPN made fun of Harden after his post game conference.

"James Harden doesn't seem to be too upset over a 39 points series lose"

 

The problem is Harden by himself gets us 50 games a year, we can develop a guy like d'angelo russell and fultz

 

ESPN is losing subs for a reason, but everybody hates harden...

 

Yep. That's something nobody can argue with. Dream was unique. Harden is merely special. Can't compare the two, at least not until Harden does something in the post-season to stake his claim.

 

It was a great season
Much better that was expecting from everyone.
Off course the end wa ugly
But we are in a solid position to be th 2nd best team in the West next season.
San Antonio survive this time, but it wont happen again,
so we have to move foward,
I hope Morey correct some crearly mistakes like go into the playoff with only 2 true bigs (capela and Nene with his injury story)

 

News flash Harden is not a basketball junkie... his heart and soul is not into winning a championship. All he cares about is ho's, individual acolades and making the most money. We not winning a championship with this guy.

so then why did he skip the olympics and just have his best season ever with practically no other all-star on his team and led his team to 55 wins... if he just wins one mvp it will change how many change the perception of him. Too bad he aint lightskin

 

The question no one can answer is does James want to do something special? Or does he have his money and will simply punch a clock until he calls it a career? Another valid question is has he simply reached the peak of his talent and athletic ability and it simply is not good enough to be a number 1 option that gets you to the final four?

Pop is the greatest coach by a large margin in the nba, he is like Bill Belechek, there is no shame in losing to him, because he is a genius. The rockets had more talent on their team, but pop can make average guys play like superstars. The man is great.

 

He choked on the playoffs that year. We you want anything bad enough... the hunger of what you want will overpower the the fear of not successfully capturing it. Harden simply doesn't want it bad enough.

 

I disagree with the "more talent" thing. Spurs are loaded with shooters just like we are except their shooters are better. They led the league in 3pt%, not us. They had the best defense in the league, we were middle of the pack. We have absolutely no one to stop Aldridge when he's hitting everything like he always seems to do at Toyota Center. They are loaded with seasoned vets with championship experience. Just look at how good their win% is even without Kawhi.
