He's not a good coach, but Harden still quit on him.

James wouldn't know the difference between a good or bad coach anyways.

I knew it was troubling when Harden the best player on the Rockets wasn't my favorite player all the time he has been here.. Game 5 had me wavering on even being a fan of Harden.. after Games 6 I think I'm done.

Posted that before the playoffs began this year in the official vs OKC rd 1 thread.

Decent numbers vs OKC but didn't impose his will and dominate. Had the superior team and coach as I mentioned.

Against the Spurs Probably his worse choke job from 4th quarter of game 5 that carried over to OT and game 6. Couldn't take advantage of Kawhi being out. Absolutely GUTLESS. Zero heart.

    You suck Jim Harden.

hah, saw that one coming. Harden probably partied hard between last game and today. Just gave up like a quitter. T-Mac all over again.

Disaster end to an overachieving season. Wonder if Morey will try to get that 2nd superstar.

only a chip can erase what I just witnessed tonight

I don't want to hear any more about the media's disrespect for Harden, I no longer care. MVP's? I no longer care. Triple doubles? Idgaf. Guady numbers? They mean nothing.

he will be judged solely on his playoff performances from now on

Sadly enough, this wasn't his worse game. The 13 turnover game against Golden State was worse and then he blamed the Rockets "Get me more help at point guard."

Harden has to be receptive of that. After what happened with Dwight I'm not sure he can be.

This is why super teams exist. One can step up when another has an off night. Curry wouldn't be the golden child without the help he gets in the playoffs.

Harden has carried that load for a while. He needs some more legit stars, like a good big to carry scoring and another defensive wing.

I've mentioned last summer that trading Harden to the Lakers so he can be happy at home for their youth and draft pick would be the best we can hope for because the deal in return is only going to get worse and worse for us as Harden stays and sulks. But, that's not to say that we can't build a REAL(c'mon you all knew were pretenders this year) contender with Harden. We totally can. But, that completely relies on us getting another superstar or at least 2 more borderline all stars. Seems pretty unlikely. Highly unlikely we get even 1 more all star here(a millsap type) and a superstar is a pipe dream at this point.

So you have to ask yourself what's the point? That brings me to my point.

Les knew this. That was why Mike D'Antoni was hired. To put butts in the seats for a fun regular season team. It's not that were never going to win with James Harden...it's that were never going to win again with Leslie Alexander as our owner.

I'm saying if the fans can't be bothered to get their lazy asses in the arena, they don't have room to talk.

Dirk ****ing carried his team on his back, Harden does nothing
    This This This

Every season I hope Harden turns it around in the playoffs and every season without fail he ****s it up.

1st season, the excuse was Harden had no help against OKC who were a lot more stacked, so therefore it was excused, he shot abysmal percentage that series if I remember.

2nd season, hyped into playoffs, had Dwight Howard. Completely ***** the bed in the first 2 home games, let Westley Matthews get into his head and the series was over at that point, he quit like he did today

3rd season, slightly better, It was really Josh Smith and Howard that dominated the Mavs, I think Harden had like 2 good games that series and others were pretty bad. Against the Clippers, he pretty much gave up again in the middle of the series, only when we had that miracle come back, he had that triple double game

4th season, that was a right off pretty much

I know I'm just repeating what you wrote, but god damn how can one player be so inconsistent and level of play drop so much when it matters
