Hahahaha I can't believe people still think like this.

I mean how many straws have people been clutching with Harden saying "THIS is going to be the thing which motivates him"

And how many times have they quietly gone into the night because it in fact did not motivate Harden the way we all hoped it would.

Time to face the music. Harden is who he is. Phenomenal in the regular season. Has never once made adjustments to his game to improve in the Playoffs when officials and defenses operate differently. Leading the fans down the same path year after year.

westbrook didnt get critisized for not shaking with us. thats part of what im talking about. No way harden could get away with that

Got our behinds handed to us but in a way we overachieved. We can get better and that starts by getting a legit 4 and a backup 5 . Ryan anderson is hit or miss.

 

You never know when you're going to lay an egg.

Game 5 was ours, and it turned out we needed it.

 

Harden is too arrogant and entitled for this, even with today's dose of humility

The last time I was this disappointed was when my mom told me Santa wasn't real. Granted, that was this March, but still disappointing.

 

The only thing I can be mad about is effort in this game. No fire, passion, or determination. However, I can't get mad at the Rockets for getting this far. At the beginning of the season there was a cry for blood when D'Antoni got hired and posters were saying we're gonna be borderline 8th/lottery team. I say we've overachieved by getting to the 3rd seed in the West and getting to the Second round. Now Morey has to go back to the drawing board this offseason and retool this roster. I believe we're gonna be even better next season if we can get a deep enough bench that D'Antoni is willing to play and probably make a trade for an allstar, who knows? Looking forward to offseason speculation, the draft, and next season.
