****, put Harden in the East and I actually like our chances against Lebron and the Cavs with the roster that we have right now

think about it, I feel very confident that Harden and a bunch of role players could compete very well against a team that has Lebron, Kyrie, and Kevin Love (the Warriors are a different story tho)

Could we give the Cavs a tough 6 game series? Absolutely. Now give Harden a Big 3 or damn all star squad like these other guys...

When the team and he himself has championship aspirations, of course. Don't lose games by zoning out.

The reputation of "playoff Harden" needs to be slayed. But the other night showed it was still there.

He has to look at himself and overcome that. No one else can do that for him.

When you have the greatest triple double of all time expectations tend to grow lol

Harden could still improve. It's very probable this is his peak, but who knows maybe next season he gets even better; I certainly didn't think he'd average 11+ assists coming into this season.

Well the least I expect from him is to come out and play with fire after last game's disappointment. He comes out flat in the 1st Q and passive taking zero shots

What a big let down that first Q from Harden

    Horse ****!

Hakeem played both ends, all the time - he did not rest on defense and he was MENTALLY STRONG!!

Harden is not even close to Hakeem's level yet. He can get there but he has to protect the ball, he has to push the pace and he has work to do as a leader.

Him yelling at his teamates after his own STUPID ASS TURNOVERS is not helping them think he is any type of leader at all.

Harden is the opposite of Deshaun Watson. Deshaun up to now has played his best during the biggest moments.

Harden shrinks. Brain-freeze. What to do, how to help him? He played with another all-star whom he ran out of the city. Frankly I think this is his max.

Spurs are winning without kawhi and Parker. Houston role players need to step up

Right now, I'd settle for him playing with a sense of urgency in do or die playoff games. This is not the first time he's pulled this BS in the playoffs.

I think demanding him to live up to what he is paid. Good job in regular season, its doing really well in post season.

Yeah he doesn't NEED MORE HELP, he needs to play better and to protect the basketball - he is NOT MVP - sorry.

He has help, but they not showing up. Slow starts from him almost always has a negative effect towards the rest of the game.

We run a GIMMICKY offense that is EASY to guard if you play disciplined basketball, the Spurs are smarter and more disciplined than us.

Neither team is beating the Warriors anyway.

Sadly, the objective side of me agrees to this.

This offensive schema (independent of MDA's Sun's success or lack thereof) is great to notch winning records in the regular season beating up on .500 and sub 0.500 teams. But when it comes to pushing elite status, a true 1 or 2 seed - even if we did catch up to the Spurs in the regular season in Ws, I'm not sure we could match with the Warriors.

But even in spite of the gimmicky offense, the carelessness of Harden in this game tells me Harden is no true MVP candidate.

I'm not hatin', I'm reluctantly statin'

Because this is the biggest stage/time of year.

MVPs and max players like Harden - [/I] at a minimum[/I] should be showing up EVERY game in the playoffs.

So, a resounding NO, I don't think we are expecting too much from Harden.

expecting too much? i'm expecting more than 2 f'ing shots in the first half of an elimination game.

i'm expecting more points than turnovers from a max contract player.
