Spurs 18 assists from fundamental passing. Rockets 9 assists from behind the back, no look blind passes. Style point we win, numbers that count, we lose by a big margin.

 

Jvg is the best thing about this game. He should just start talking baseball

 

I've never seen so many players pass up on a layup attempt to just throw it blindly to someone behind the 3 point line....and then watch that player on the perimeter pump fake away the open 3 he had to pass it to someone else to either...

-Drive and do the same thing.

It's like the Rockets refuse to take ANYTHING but a Clint dunk or a 3 point shot.

Popovic is exposing Moreyball tonight, I don't even have to see the shot chart. They are taking a TON of midrange shots.

 

What is going on? This offense is too damn slow all of sudden. Harden keeps crossing the line like always with seconds to spare. Beverley should start the offense if Harden keeps walking the damn ball up the court. Need to pick up the pace.

James seems to be sending a message to the franchise: Run me into the ground and blame me for the loss, I'll pull a 2006 Kobe Bryant act on you. Spurs are relying on everyone to pitch in, James is trying to get his team to step up. I hope that's all it is. I still think we got this.

 

I agree. I can't believe this. I'm stunned. Westbrook would go out fighting. Harden looks like he's gonna lay down and die. He looks like he just suffered a family tragedy and doesn't know how to deal with it.

 

He got all the talents, but lacking heart. Not MVP

Was told making the playoffs last year was better than keeping the draft pick. Was told Rockets would be more desirable if the made the playoffs instead missing it. That landed us Ryno and EGO. Those guys gave us a combined 0-9. In the must win game.

 

i'm only disappointed i cashed out my bet on the spurs before HT but not in the rockets. they'll comeback to win this.

 

Don't understand why Harden won't just run the pick roll and head downhill. It's so easy. And if that fails, I'm good with it. But to not run the one play that has been killing and to not run it now for 4 quarters is **** ass and gutless.

 

This why you don't get mvp Harden just be a robin this organization needs to find a batman

 

Disappointed in Harden. I expected better from a MVP contender. He's clearly not even close to Lebron James level right now. Doesn't have the same level of consistency I expect from a great player. No surprise we have been losing badly on the court since the 2nd half of last game till now when he has played like trash.

 

...I am so pissed at the team right now. And as sad as it is to say. It's not the team.
