    Could there be a double standard on this board?

    IF Francis were having the type of game Yao was having, we'd be screaming for his head.

    Now, in this case, people are making excuses for Yao's bad play.

    He's just having a bad game... it will happen... let Steve and Cuttino carry us.

    Mr. Yetti, you're right . Maybe Houston just shouldn't give hime an extension after his rookie contract expires. It might also be good for him to play somewhere else where he doesn't have to worry about stealing other self-proclaimed star players' thunder. In my opion, he not only has to deal with his game, he also needs to deal with stuff outside the game.
    If Yao's out of Houston, good luck finding a back-up center for Kato and winning a champion!

    For some of you newer people:
    I don't know what Yetti's on, but he's usually one of the biggest guard bashers on the board. Don't take his Yao bashing to heart.

    If is true that great players elevate their teamates abilities, the same could be reversed for Moochie.

    I now know why I avoid the game thread. Some of ya'll seriously need to fugging relax. Yes why dont we trade Yao for TMac? Sincethey both having bad games tonight, I'm sure Magic fans think the same way too since TMac only has 14 pts so far.

    Great Idea and trade Moochie for an NBA bobble head set, and big mac....

    I know you people are saying to yourself Real GM would not allow it but i know the big mac is pushing it.

    I think it's because all the shots Yao took were in the paint, they were good shots.

    Ming has been outplayed by a 6' 9" no name center. Something is wrong. The good news, the Rocket's are leading by nine with about three min. to go. Mobley has done a great defensive job on TMac.

    Only reason he is playing well is cuase Yao takes the pressure of him and he gets easy buckets with them focusing on Yao, as a starting center we know what he did. But i am happy with Cato's Improvment.
