It has been a dark couple days for my Rockets fandom.. After game 5 all my MVP whining feels hollow.

I'm ready to eat crow for James Harden though. prove me wrong, Beard.

 

This is my biggest fear. Teams will often play less than their best game if one of the other team's star players is MIA. The Rockets did that when Chris Paul was MIA back in that Clipper series and we got down 3-1 before coming back to win with Chris Paul actually playing.

The team hears that the star is out and doesn't bring the intensity they need. Meanwhile, the other team has everyone else stepping up their game to make up for the loss of their star.

 

Hope someone out there bet big before the money/spread line moves drastically.

if we had won game 5, then hobbled Kawhi would've played tonight but wouldn't be able to beat us and we'd be closing them out in front of Red Nation

take advantage of this, win game 7, and then what happened in game 5 will be forgiven

 

This is the type of game the Rox could lose. If the Rox come out half assed and don't take care of business they deserve to take their asses home.

 

If the Rockets lose tonight with no Kawhi, then I'll be utterly devastated. I still haven't gotten over game 5, and a loss tonight might push me over the edge.

Rockets will win tho, they have to for my sanity...I'm not ready for this season to be over

 

Even if Kawhi were healthy I got the feeling tonight will be a blow out win for the Rockets. It's coming out flat in game 7 after such a high is what I'm worried about.

 

Right. The way they loss the other night it wouldn't surprise me if they loss tonight. This feel good year of overachieving would be majorly tarnished.
