Please show me where the right are singing his praises? Ive only seen one or two people on this board who have or still support Trump. Trump is a president who is not going to accomplish much. I am beyond words why anyone wants to impeach Trump in favor of a unified Republican Congress majority standing behind Pence, who is the epitome of nearly every clique of a Republican.

Actually, I am not amazed that the Trump supporters defend every decision Trump makes. It actually makes sense. Even though they all now say they didn't vote for him, they have to defend every Trump move to avoid the embarrassment from admitting that they were duped by this snake oil salesman and that they handed the keys to our country to this incompetent crazy person. They can't own responsibility nor accept blame... hence they try to blame Democrats (and Clinton) even though they didn't cast a single vote for Trump.
While I disagree that it should happen instead of the independent special prosecutor, I actually think Mike Lee is making a very good suggestion... btw, Mike Lee was named as a possible USSC nominee, even though he was pretty critical of Trump as a candidate.
I actually don't know any democratic politician that called for his firing. I think a lot of dems like myself were critical of comey and thought he did what he did out of political pressure but I know I did not want him fired.

Pretty sure Bernie Sanders said Comey needed be fired. He has said that circumstances are different now because of an ongoing investigation, but he was ready for him to go previously.
