But seriously, it's hard being a liberal gun owner like myself....literally no one likes you from either side of the spectrum and going to a gun show is like being undcover, trying not to get marked and avoiding the Gadsden flag waiving wannabe militia men. On the positive side, great time to buy now that the panicky mouth-breathers aren't gearing up for Jade Helm and stopping the Kenyan Socialist from prying anything out of their cold dead hands. All those dolts that snatched up AR's at inflated prices and mobbed the damn academy when all you want is some .22's to plink but they are already sold out after All the preppers bought them out.
Forgot my list-- Handguns: .45 acp, .357 revolver, .22auto, 7.62x25 CZ52(cold-war era auto) Hunting Rifles: 30.06, 30.30 lever, .257 Wheatherby magnum Shotguns: 12 ga O/U, 12 ga pump, 20 ga pump Older collector rifles: Colt .45 Lightning pump(wall hanger), pre-64 Model 90 in .32 Winchester special Mil-surps: 2 Mausers, 5 Mosin Nagants of various years, models and countries, 50's era M1 Garand, Carcano carbine, Yugo SKS
Even trying to get primers for my brother who reloads, 2 years ago it was nearly impossible to get an adequate supply. Truly, it sucks being liberal and having anything to do with the gun culture, a true beat down.
Whenever I'm taking a course, inevitably some bubba starts railing on Obama and the libruls. I just roll my eyes and nod. It's disturbing that there people out there that really believe all the stuff online.
I'm in the same boat. I usually keep my politics to myself, but if anyone asks, I tell them and hope to shine a different light on the misconceptions of liberals.
LETS see how much courage you have when someone kicks you're door in and ties you up and rapes you're wife. (From the movie law abiding citizen)
OH AND I just bought myself a gun. Didn't wanna spend much so I did some research and found a good gun for fairly low price. S&W 9mm sdv9 Great reviews Under 300 dollars.
Considering how the current situation is going, I'm thinking of buying my first rifle. Any recommendations on the AR-15?
to "improve your marksmanship" if I recall. Do you drive there in your hybrid bumping with your capacitor'd car audio? Please post more about your technical savvy and gun knowledge.
That's not really a good reason to buy a rifle, if you aren't going to shoot for fun or hunt with it, I wouldn't recommend an AR-15 at all. That said, if you just really want one, go nuts.
