I am in the believer's camp. We got this esp Leonard and Gasol are injuried. But we gotta give some playing time to Dekker and Harrell as our players were so gassed starting the 4th Q.
Leonard will play through the injury if it's not severe, guaranteed. Gasol isn't injured...although he may be butthurt after Pop chewed him out.
Season isn't over guys chill, we'll snatch game 6 and give the league and the fans the game 7 they are craving. No bias officiating will happen in 7 so we'll handle business pretty handily.
I don't see it. Kawhi might rest game 6 for precautionary reasons (Pop might just concede the game) but he will be pretty great in game 7. We KNOW that Harden will choke again so why bother. I'd almost rather see us lose in game 6.
We are the better team...have to play smarter and with more smarts. Effort was there just felt they sstopped ball movement and offensive movement in general in the 4th and OT. and it cost us. Learn and continue grinding
Even if we won this one, you know DAMN well the refs would completely *** us over backwards at home lol it would be same result tbh
I don't see why you go away from team ball in overtime. Harden is trying to prove that he's mvp still and lost the game.
You can't win a 7 game series if you don't lose 3 first... San Antonio won 61 games for a reason. They have SO much more playoff experience than our team. We happen to be a horrible matchup for them. This was always going to go 7...
I also think we still have a chance mostly because we've really beaten ourselves in a couple of these games. Spurs don't scare me like GSW do. Honestly they've gotten some zebra help and a ton of luck. They're old, injured, and we keep letting them off the hook. If that unforced self inflicted damage doesn't happen the series would already be over and we'd be moving on. If we fix it now we win in 7 and both games won't even be close. If we don't we probably lose in 6.
