I believe he turns from a 90% FT shooter to a 50% FT shooter when the crowd chants MVP. Can we like stop doing this? These points are important. If I hear MVP chants when he's at the line I dread it because I know that there is a strong chance he misses 1/2 at least.

I guess I'm not sure I buy that his percentage goes down on average. He hears the MVP chant a lot.

Yeah stop shouting at your players in general when it's at home unless it's garbage time.

Toyota Center should have a "Shhhhhh!" sounder right before he shoots. You can shout "MVP" all you want up until he's getting into his shooting stance.

I believe the moon doesn't really exist, it's just the back of the sun.

It isn't the chant of MVP specifically, it's that the players are accustomed to Toyota Center being so quiet at all times that they get spooked when someone actually speaks up.

yeah. he flubs it every time.

kobe was the master of the mvp-free throw. he always had a slow approach at the line but when they were chanting he took an extra breath or two. or three lol...
