With EG suspended indefintely, and Mo suspended AT LEAST 10 games maybe more until he is in full compliance, is it time to call up the youngster in Germany?

    Badiane....paging Mr. Badiane !!

IMO hes no better than what we have on our team
    ex: Braggs, Amaechi

He's just got raw athleticism, and ill bet anything he couldnt hold his own in the NBA right now

I thought he was obligated to finish his contract overseas before he could come here?

First, teams are not allowed to recall players from overseason once they have optioned their contracts. They must remain there for the entire season.

Second, Mo isn't going anywhere. He is untradeable and his contract cannot be voided.

Third, even if Badianne was available, there are FAR better options available in the NBDL and as free agents or potential minor trades than opting for an incredibly raw rookie. The guy was an average player in the summer leagues and is clearly not ready for the NBA. If he was close to being ready, he would have remained in camp.

I would like to see what Braggs can do. I think he can be a solid backup. He hustles and plays kinda dirty, and I like it. I think we'll be fine with him in. Throw Torraye in at second string, and give Padgett his old minutes. Sure it's nice to be as deep as we were, but I think for 10-15 games we will be fine with Padgett and Braggs.

I'll bet you're right. He's not ready to play with the big boys, but all the effort and God-given athletic ability is there.

From what I saw of his hustle in the summer league he could be a real steal in a year or two.

Langhi is still in the league...but he is nowhere near as athletic as Badiane, nor did he hustle as much.

But his summer league and preseason show is what made him soooo hyped.

I need someone to re-explain the trade exception. Jonathan Feigen wrote an article explaining that it can't be used as I was sure it could be used; for example, if we took Marcus Fizer for draft picks, or Othella my Fella (who the Knicks don't want anymore), etc.

The list is long of teams carrying players less able than BAD. I never wanted him to go. He can rebound and shot block. On a 15 man roster I would find a place for him that is for sure. However I would bring in Tmo.

    DearRock,

Tmo would be a nice option, I thought he was just coming into his own last year.

Does anyone know if Tmo was in any NBA training camp?

I dont know what is soooo intruiging about TMO that every one wants him back, Just play braggs and meech, and wait till our IR players get back. IMO: TMO wasnt all that good people.

I thought Tmo was good, and that he would have stepped it up a little more this year. I was very suprised we didn't resign him. We could probably use him back now.

cmon guys. You all know the outcome already. Pig Miller will sign a ten day contract and sit on the end of the bench. Cato will play less back up center and Braggs will garner most of the backup four minutes. Meechi will look stunningly pathetic in his minutes as backup center, and just in case foul trouble is a major problem, the pig will get his time.

Agreed! With Braggs or Padgett coming in for Cato & Meech coming in for Yao. That way Cato won't be too overworked.

Jelani McCoy? He just got cut by the Cavs.

I also like bringing back TMo.
