I think before, having Gordon start just killed our bench. NOW, with Sweet Lou, I think it is the right move to have our second best player and an extremely underrated defender starting.

Me too. Let Lamarcus/Pau try to defend Gordon/Ariza/Harden. GOOD luck. If we miss wide open threes, then so be it.

Yes, I'd rather the ball in LMA's hand and having him score. Especially in the 3rd and 4th Qtr when is absolutely tired from having to shoot those shots, run back on defense, and play guards on the perimeter chasing James and others. Eric Gordon blew by him to the rim for an easy layup after dragging him through the lane.

Pau will stand with Ryno and LMA does a fair job staying with Ariza. Ariza gets a few backdoor cuts but if he has the ball in his hands, LMA can stay in front of him.

I hate giving up so many offensive rebounds but I don't see any other way forward. Small ball, do or die.

If we play Ryan at backup C, I expect pop to play even smaller and put kawhi at the 5 lol

I've been thinking this for the last two games since Parker went down. EG should be the starter and Bev should come off the bench for the remainder of this series. Let Bev hound Pattie Mills and add EG to the starting lineup in hopes of the team starting fast and scoring from the jump.

Looks like EG may be starting and Ryno will be coming off the bench. They may put Ariza and Harden on LA.

There was a play yesterday in the third quarter (or fourth) where LMA ended up guarding Gordon, Eric kept running along the baseline, and at some point LMA basically gave up and we got an easy shot, i would like to see that more when we have Pat/Lou, Gordon, James and Trevor out there, run the big guys to the ground.

EDIT: this play here, at 0:46

Ryan at the 5 doesn't solve this teams problems, it magnifies the glaring weakness for rebounds. It's definitely one of our better options but it's going to be difficult to keep the rebounding margin somewhere close to equal. I hope Nene's injury isn't too serious but with him going straight to the hospital, it doesn't sound particularly good. We'll see how both teams adapt on Tuesday.

He has played Ryno at the 5 more than once already so this isn't new.
