Maybe this is our Keith Van Horn moment that shifts the series!

This is why winning a championship is such an "insurmountable" task almost. Having the right personnel, chemistry and HEALTH is really a tall order for any team. Some teams have a surplus of all-world talent to weather the inevitable storm of injuries late in the season, but most never reach their potentials because of it.

I still can't believe Mutombo went down in 09...and THEN Yao in the following Round. Those were are 2 marquee defensive and offensive (respectively) players that the Lakers benefited from. Some things seem to never change.

Chinanu played 10+ minutes twice this year, with a plus/minus of -11 and -22. ZERO blocks.

These are the playoffs. Not a time to play untested rookies.

A combo of Capela, Anderson, and Harrell will need to platoon.

It's an unfortunate loss, but the Rockets do have Montrezl. He had his share of decent games when Nene sat during the regular season. It's gonna be tough beating the Warriors without Nene, but it was gonna be a difficult task even with him. Let's just worry about taking care of the Spurs first.

Yes otherwise why the **** did they draft him? He needs to get out there, run the floor hard and play defense for 3-5 minutes a quarter, no one is suggesting he pull down a 20 and 10 stat line but with Ne gone we need continuity of defense and rebounding, I could give a crap if he scores

So sad to hear about Nene', and hope that we can bring him back next year at least for one more year!

But with his injury, it's no Capela's time to shine even more. If he can stay out of foul trouble (not always his fault, that 3rd foul on Gasol last night was a pitiful joke by the refs and clearly showed their agenda), Capela can play 36 minutes and I think average 15+ points 15+ rebounds and 4 or more blocks in that amount of playing time. I think his stamina has adjusted and he is ready to step it up even more.....if only the refs allow him to play just like the other teams bigs.

If Capela can stay in the game for 36 minutes, that only leaves 12 more for the center spot which Anderson can actually handle. But if Capela get's into foul trouble, especially early, Anderson won't be able to handle 20 or more minutes at center and we will need to see a few minutes of either Harrel or Onauku. Your move MDA! (after the refs set the tone smmfh)

I honestly don't see why MDA hasn't tried putting Montrez in at least when Anderson is off from behind the arc (which has been almost every game this post season) The guy brings so much energy and can really produce in the paint in short spurts.
