If Nene is out, then how about signing Smoove to replace him. Need to replace the tude on D. Anyone know the rules for adding players after postseason begins?

Sadly I don't think we need any confirmation. Anything Groin and you are talking weeks. Not days. Ne is most likely done for the post season. If it is a a pull then you MIGHT see him in the finals if we make it that far.

Hopefully it is something else but pull or tear and he is gone.

I don't know about PT in the playoffs, but this is just what I was saying
during the regular season when we kept seeing Tyler Ennis over and over again.
BB can at least make plays and hit shots.
And I'm not opposed if our other shooters are cold, at least getting BB out there to see if he can light some sort of fire.
Whoever can put points on the board.

Harden out partying after yesterdays win. They do need to treat game 5 as a true must win. hopefully they can all be on the same page with that.

Sucks about NeNe because he's been huge for us. This forces our hand tho.

We were going to be seeing a bunch of Ryan at the 5 if we were to play gsw. Just because of the match-up and draymond.

Against Sas it isn't ideal but it's gonna have to do in spurts. Helps us get more familiar with Ryan at the 5 for if we advance.

Harrell is gonna have to play 5-10mpg at center and he's really gonna have to step it up defensively.

Losing NeNe does expand the bench to a 9 man rotation including dekker and Harrell now.

Let's hope they can step up and contribute.

very true. doesn't allow him to roam around like he wants to, which lets him be so disruptive defensively

I noticed that too. Don't remember who Lou was guarding, but a buddy of mine said that was the wrong d because the other player couldn't shoot from the outside.

    C'mon Lou, use your brains...

So I make weird little notepad notes for my own sake. Here is one on Harden's assists last night:

    copy/paste:

1 PnR penetrate, Capela pass back in paint, Harden kick out to 3 Beverley
2 No look pass to 3pt shooter after PnR
3 PnR penetrate kick out to 3 pt shooter
4 Fast break transition, draws D, no look hand off to big under basket
5 Cross court transition pass to open 3 pt shooter before D is set
6 PnR pocket pass threading needle between 2 defenders to rolling Ariza for dunk
7 PnR penetrate kick out to open corner 3
8 PnR draws double team, passes to open Ariza for drive
9 Pick n Fade w/ Ariza, no look pass back for open 3
10 2nd chance Bev rebound pass to Harden in paint, pass to open 3 Gordon
11 Assists on Anderson jump shot
12 Pick n Fade w/ Anderson draws double team, pass to Ryan for open 3

Can we take a moment to appreciate that this offense has now blown up the Spurs twice? This was the best defense in the NBA according to points per possession.

Lets not forget that pop slowly pulled his starters throughout the end of the 3rd also. I didnt understand. We had a sizeable lead but they are always capable of making a comeback. Never underestimate that damn geriatric team.

OK, I just thought I would throw this random trivia out there. Has anyone noticed the guy with the flamboyant outfits and hat who sits on the sidelines of playoff games. Just in case you never noticed him over the years, and suddenly noticed him at our playoff games, I thought I would share this old article titled Jimmy Goldstein: Lesser-Known Facts About NBA's Superfan. I read it a long time ago, but thought I would share it with anyone interested.

They will be even better next year.

They need to beat SA. It's important they go in to free agency saying, we need one more piece to jump in to that GSW/Cleveland group.
