    I'm relishing every minute of it, especially living in Dallas with these moronic Rangers' fans.

    Kyle Seager just took Sam Dyson deep to put Seattle in front 4-3 in the 8th.

    @bobrek

    Just talked to NYC Nic...Go early (opens 2hrsish before the games). They have a great museum inside the stadium with all sorts of memorabilia (Babe Ruth and on...), they moved Monument Park as well, so there's that too. Across the street in the Old Stadium site, it's now a park but in one corner of it there's these free viewfinders (like the ones you pay a quarter for to look at the Statue) that play old Yankee clips. Go early.

    Take the subway. Slightly shady neighborhood around there, so just eat at the stadium and/or before/after, the food is very good for ballpark stuff. No idea if you're traveling with your grandkids or what.

    No snark, but fiers held his own after the solo homers. He wills our bats to hit.

    are we just going to ignore the obvious? what is up with those sparkly beaded necklaces worn by our guys?

    And I don't like the usage rate for Julia Morales. Other teams have their ace reporter every other inning reporting. It's inning 3 when she first appears. This has got to stop! Root sports does not recognize the talent that was bestowed upon them.

    Also who is the "baseball lawyer" ? he has this cool show that talks about the best team in our city on Sundays unlike every other radio show that talks nothing but junk.

    Thanks for the info. We intend to get there to do some sight seeing well before the game. Just me and my wife going to the game (Hamilton tickets Wednesday night). Going with a couple of old Minnesota friends who live in New York.

    To be honest he left a hanger to the second batter that should just now be coming down but I'm good with not interesting.

    As much much as we complain about Sipp, Dyson has been far worse this season (12.66 era).

    There is an imaginary suck line that basically any player on the wrong side of the line shouldn't be playing and fans should complain about. For Dyson, he is so far in the suck that it isn't his fault when he blows a lead, tie. It is manager's fault for putting him in a game that isn't already over. His being worse should make it easier not to do something stupid.

    Astros up 5.5 games on second place....

    Out of the gates fast.

    I'm still bummed about losing game 2 with all of those LOB's.

    Playing good ball. We have a good record and it really could be better. We beat ourselves in both losses to cleveland and we absolutely shoulda won game 2 of this last series. Still, this team is going to put it all together somewhere in june or july and never look back.
