Anybody done this? Do you usually get tickets below face value? Anybody had any problems with doing this? I was checking for Rockets Tickets on EBAY and found a couple of sets of tickets that were pretty cheap at the moment but the auctions don't end for a few days. I just wanted to get some input from some people who have done this before.
Yes, I have bought them off of eBay before. I usually buy from a seller with a good rating and have not had any problems. I also prefer to have my seller be from Houston so I can arrange a face to face pickup instead of having it mailed.
I have purchased the tix without any problem. Legally they can't sell the tix for more than face value.
Just make sure they don't rape you on shipping. Most ticket sellers seem to be pretty legit, but there are a lot of sketchy card sellers. How's that for a stereotype?
I just bought 10 tickets off ebay for Saturday's game vs. the Magic. I paid a lot for shipping, but they overnighted them Fed Ex, so I guess it was worth it.
