Hidalgo Robbed of a Gold Glove

Wow, sounds like I'm not the only one who needs therapy.

The first step is admitting the problem. Maybe it's the lack of carbs.

 

we all know cruz's error in the playoffs are irrelevant - it's a regular season award. he had just 2 in the reg season and had 18 assists. his award was deserved, he covers a lot of ground and makes the plays.

edmonds had 12 assists but he won on reputation only. had five E's - guy is a total hot dog - overrated.

jones had only 8 assists, just 14 less than hidalgo. had 3 E's. he covers more ground than anyone and no one runs on him - deserved.

hidalgo had 4 e's and led the league with 22 assists.
error's is pretty much a wash no one in the league had more than 8 but adam dunn. so basically every OF had b/w 2 and 7. he got hosed.

 

WOOT!!! is my favorite.

 

I lost all respect for the award a few years ago when they gave the AL glove for 1st base, despite having only played 18 games there the whole season. The rest was spent at DH.

 

Hidalgo sure was robbed. He should of had that. He was nearly autmatic at throwing out runners.

He has an incredible arm.

 

NO NO the sad the ausmus's bat wasn't as good matheny .True this a defensive award but the bat makes the difference.

 

That's not the worst part ?? What if Cruz is the guy the astros sign if that trade doggie.

 

Then how do you explain Hidalgo losing to Cruz? Hidalgo was clearly superior to Cruz in offense.

 

Cruz is a joke...Dalgy deserved this more than anyone...

 

All this voting had to take place before the playoffs, I hope they wouldn't give it to this guy after seeing him drop those two fly balls. Berkman deserved it more then Cruz.

 

Thats messsed up, i thought Hidalgo would have been a shoe in for the glove.... im pissed
