i was joking.

 

Rockets will need to come out focused to start the game. can not be down at the end of 1st at home. Must play at their pace not the Spurs pace at home. Go Rockets!!

 

So everyone's ignoring how badly we got beat on the boards, especially the second chance points?

Gasol sucking out Capela all game and Capela ends up with 3, yes THREE, rebounds all game.

That has got to change. Kawhi picking up Harden from half court the entire game, we also got to find a way to peel Kawhi off him. When we were able to with a early Beverley screen, Parker switched on him and James got the three FTs.

 

The fact that this wasn't a flagrant foul is a criminal act by the NBA refs association.

 

I was really enjoying this game until the 4th quarter started. I was all excited at the thought that we might actually come out of San Antonio with a 2 game lead, leaving the Alamo City in a state of shock. But, as the 4th quarter started, a not so funny thing happened. The smile slowly disappeared off my face, my excitement became nervousness, and my cheers of joy became words I won't share on here. I guess you could say that it was about that time that I was no longer enjoying the game. I stuck it out though, as ugly as it was, watching it in frustration, which turned into complete disappointment. Such is the life of a Rockets fan, enduring the good, the bad, and the ugly. I know in my heart though, that when I can endure this type of frustration, the victories just seem so much sweeter. I will never forget what the excitement can feel like to bring that Championship trophy home to Clutch City. Time to shake it off, settle down, and show those boys we mean business. We will not go down without a fight to the end!!!! Go Rockets!!!

 

With Harden at 100% i think we could've won this game, i just ******* hope he's going to be ok and ready to play at his best for net game cause if not we're screwed.

 

the overreactions to this loss are pretty funny

the Spurs got destroyed in game 1 and made the necessary adjustments for game 2, y'all are acting like the Rockets aren't capable of doing the same as they go back home for game 3...

it's not even like we were getting destroyed all game, it was 1 disastrous quarter that caused this game to end up being a blowout...calm tf down

Pretty much the same overreactions after Game 1 when people said this series is over, sweep etc.

Nope. It's a series and just like against OKC when the Rockets won game 1 big and every game after that was close. Hopefully everyone including the Rockets know to bring the energy and intensity for the remaining games. Pop and SAS adjusted and had a game plan and hopefully MDA will come out with one also especially post Parker injury.

 

Folks, as pointed out earlier here, I saw cases where just bending DOWN would have secured a rebound....going to the floor like game 1..FORGET IT... weren't doing it ! I said during the season that you can't just turn it on and off when you want ...especially in the playoffs. I feel this was the case tonight...this game was hanging in the balance..and we didn't show up in the 4th qtr. Outscored 33-13...UNREAL ! I thought we would have have worn those old legs down by mid 4t but it was us that looked tired. That's my biggest concern..we could have put our foot on their throat tonight and sent a message. It was there for the taking.

#3 I don't think we are overreacting ... Most people here are really pleased with the play the first 3 quarters .

 

That bleacher report clip was terrible. I can't believe TNT broadcasted that junk. offensive to the Rockets

didn't the thunder coach say we are a good defensive team?

 

We didn't came out with a sense of urgency, Spurs played hard and they shot the ball lights out, yet it was a 5 point game going into the fourth quarter. We couldn't stop them from scoring (shot the ball over 54%), even when they miss, they ended up getting second and third chances because we couldn't secure the rebound. After all, we got what we wanted, atleast a split in the first 2 games. I still believe Rockets are a better and deeper team and will outlast the Spurs in 6 games. Go Rockets..Be ready to play in Game 3...lets win on our home court.

 

Agreed, I am looking forward to this chess match now we have a coach capable of making his own adjustments.

 

I looked like an absolute fool after hyping up Harden and predicting he was going to go Isaiah Thomas on them after LMA started jawing at him.

You can then imagine my disappointment.

 

does anyone know where i can find the stat for who guarded Harden in the game ? talking possession wise

 

I knew it was a bad omen when I saw Derek Fisher and Shaq together on TNT. F*** them

 

If Jimmy's going to walk it up, let someone else bring the ball up...Bev will take Kawhi on...hell, he did the best defensive job on LMA.
