Spurs can't come back after this unless Harden keeps sucking

"Spurs owner Juliana Hawn Holt, who took over as CEO for her husband Peter Holt last March, rose from her seat courtside screaming, and walked toward an official before she was pulled back to her seat."

They killed us on the boards and hustle plays. Just absolutely killed us. Damned embarrassment.

Crushing loss . But hopefully it lights a fire. Its a 7 game series and we stole one. If we do our job at home that's all we need

it was a 3 point game right near the end of the 3rd. they better not act like we got outclassed like the spurs in game 1. one small spurs run and then a ref hammer-lock after that turned it into a joke.

and would they stop acting like us shooting 22/50 was the greatest thing in the world. maybe getting 50 off was amazing, but 44% isn't earth-shattering. it's a slightly above average shooting percentage for a single game. we shot 28% for a whole series. now that's anomalous.

Spurs were always going to come out strong in this one. We tried our best to hang in there but we lost that crucial early 4th Q and the refs did not help

    I'll take the split

Well folks...couldn't have been more wrong ......still believe we have the formula to beat this team BUT you have to actually do it...TEMPO ! The team tonight for the Rockets didn't compare in ANY WAY to Monday night....energy,effort, double teaming, clogging the passing lanes, man up on defense....on offense Ariza, Jimmy,Lou, Bev...heck everyone basically didn't show up. Ryno did but his D was laughable as were several others. Capela? Don't go there. Even normally dependable Nene..nothing. I think we were satisfied to go back home 1-1.

Tony Brothers is a god awful referee. Him being talked into a shooting foul by the Spurs without even looking at other refs for help was brilliant tv.

I'm not worried but I am a bit upset on HOW the game was officiated. If the Rockets drop a game in Houston to the Spurs, they have no one to blame, not even the refs.

If the Rockets can't come out of game 4 up 3-1, then all that hardwork to win game 1 means nothing.

    1. The refs took the team out of this game. Rox realized that they weren't going to win this game with that no matter how well they played.

    2. Next game Harden needs to force the action against Kwahi and draw fouls early and often.

Guys, we're winning both games at home. I didn't see anything tonight that isn't fixed with more hustle. They beat us to every 50/50 ball, got every rebound, crushed us on 2nd chance points, got help from the refs, and we were STILL only down 5 going into the 4th. We'll be fine.

On another subject, Ariza playing like total garbage is a team killer. I'm not asking him to be a good offensive player, but he can't put in 2 points and shoot like trash.

Harden knows when he's being railroaded. So he quit. You could see in Dantoni's face. Not about by how much you win. It's about how much legs you got by the end of the series... look at Parker. In seven games, which I assert that's what NBA wants to go with this one, another of these old-ass spurs will go down... probably Aldridge is next. If the NBA is smart, play for rockets to win because they won't have a roster to play with by the time they reach the warriors.

Part of it was randomness ... Most of it was not . Frankly we went cold . Also , SA went small and we couldn't match their athleticism ... It happened in the 2nd too , just we didn't go cold .

The only real pointguard left for the Spurs is Patty Mills now.

Yes, he has social anxiety, just like Marshall Lynch and many other ball players.

At least they can play, unlike Royce White who uses it to collect a paycheck
