    I forgot to give sufficient reasoning for Dracula defeating Gort...under my concept of the tournament, Dracula has the capability of turning himself into a bat. Therefore, bat guano, being relatively corrosive in nature, would have no problems eating through the robotic body of Gort. Bat dung rules this one!!!

    Okay, here is a scoring update:

    Darth Vader is crushing Jack the Ripper 16-1
    Pinhead is struggling but winning over Wolfie 10-7
    It is a dead heat between Michael Myers and Tony Montana at 8-8-1 (however Myers has the tiebreaker since that is who I voted for)
    Freddy is crushing the Kingpin to the tune of 17-0
    Dracula has rallied to lead Gort 10-7
    Regan MacNeil got off to a slow start but is leading fan favorite, The Joker by a count of 10-5-2
    Darth Maul is winning a close one over Loki 10-7
    Jason Voorhies, upset by a perceived lack of respect, leads Hannibal the Cannibal 12-5

    Midwest Scoring Updates

    Pennywise is cruising over Nurse Ratched 15-0-2
    Dr. Octopus is winning a close one over Bizarro 9-7-1
    Chucky and Oddjob are in a dead heat at 8-8-1 (however Oddjob has the tiebreaker)
    Khan is having little problem with Jesse James at 15-2
    Frankie is mopping the floor with Manson at 13-4
    The Predator is wiping out the Phantom of the Opera at 16-1
    Lex Luthor is having a surprisingly easy time with the Wicked Witch of the West winning 14-3
    Finally, HAL is blowing out Annie Wilkes 16-1

    I would like to also note that one poster has given Jack, Phantom, and Annie their only votes. I guess he did that to be different.:rolleyes: :D

    I actually remember that I will be gone to a high school playoff game (it is only the 2nd time in my old high school's history that they have made it), so it won't be until around 11 or so before I get home. However, the voting will still end at 8:30.

    The rest of the schedule for the tourney will look like this:

    West and Southeast First Round will be Monday morning, November 10 til Wednesday morning
    Then all 4 regions' second round will be Wednesday afternoon to Friday afternoon (the voting for that will conclude on 11-14)
    After another break for the weekend, the Sweet 16 will be Monday morning, November 17, through Wednesday morning. Then the elite 8 will be Wednesday afternoon through Friday afternoon. Final 4 will be the following Monday with the championship being on Wednesday.

    It is geeky enough to be voting on this thing and running it, but I am the supreme geek for listing the schedule for the villain fans.:p

    Cujo is in; his bracket will be posted on Monday. As for the others, they are good choices, but I wanted to keep it where there were no byes (32 or 64 or 128). I sorta struggled to get to 64, so I know I would have a problem finding 64 more baddies!

    No, because I felt he would be too powerful like a Q, Galactus, and Beyonder.

    That reminds me, I would take Q to win it all in a final 4 of him, Galactus, Apocalypse, and the Beyonder.
