The Durant thing is truly LOL.

The extreme nature of the posting (coupled with the arrogant tone and implication of insider wisdom), are the real problem there. So you just have to ignore and disregard. A good example is Capela. He is not as good as he looked in game one but nowhere as bad as described by said insider.

 

This organization would have gladly traded Dwight for Durant in that scenario. Everybody, Les, Daryl, Harden, everybody would've let Dwight walk to get Durant.

You're as wrong about Capela now as you were back in the day when you were pumping Aaron Brooks and I was pumping Lowry as the superior player. But that's ok Dada. You post enough good, true, and accurate stuff that I always have to consider your opinions. And a hundred thousand posts has to put you in the Russell Westbrook category of posters. So you'll hit some of those shots.

 

You insisted Romney would win the presidency. Wrong. You insisted The Rockets made a huge error in not signing D-Mo. Wrong. You promised a "Yule C" that never amounted to anything. Wrong. You said the team could never win with Capela. Wrong. You said the team could never win with HARDEN. Wrong.

And this is the best you've got? Yes, I did at one time believe Jones was the third best player on the team. I stand by the fact that, at that time, he had numbers that projected him to be a star in the league. And he was a bust in the end. See how easy it is to admit when one is wrong? You should try it sometime.

I was wrong about one thing. We all misjudge players. And that's your answer to having been wrong about freaking everything, never admitting your mistakes, and always doubling down on them? I'm not the guy that tried to charge people for "insider" info (LOL). That was you.

So that is a win for him. And he latches onto that and the fact he believed Lowry was better than Brooks.

I never "tried" anything of the sort. That's your imagination running wild. All I did was mention the possibility of starting a newsletter. That went a different direction and has been very good for me. I don't need the newsletter hassle. Got something better.

I did bet on Romney. And sadly for this country I was wrong. And I did admit that. In the appropriate forum. That's not supposed to be discussed here. Nevertheless, you're wrong about that. I did admit it.

I did not insist the Rockets made a huge error in not signing DMo. What I said is they did not treat him right. They deceived him. And that will eventually come out. We were penalized for how we dealt with DMo and it hurt our roster and chances to build a contender. I stand by all that.

I said we will not win a championship with Capela starting at center. I also said if we simply replaced Dwight with Capela on last year's team that we would be a lottery team. I did not say we wouldn't win games with Capela. In fact I said we'd win around 55 games this season if everybody stayed healthy after the roster was set. (But I expect you and others to keep pulling my comments out of context because you won't go back and copy and paste my posts in here. Because that would expose your distorted implications.)

I also said this team will not win a championship as long as Harden was the primary distributor. I even had that in my signature. And it still might be there. Because that's the truth. Won't happen. But I never said, as you claim, that we wouldn't win a bunch of games with Harden at the point. And you won't be able to pull up a post of mine that says that. Because you are clearly distorting what I did say. What I very clearly said was that we would win our fair share of games and Harden would put up monster numbers but we'll conk out in the playoffs because we are too Harden-centric and he'll wind up forcing the action and turning the ball over too much. You can hold me to that.

And finally, as you can see from my avatar which I haven't changed, we were pursuing a trade for Nerlens Noel, among others. I put him and MDA in my avatar and started using Yule C to tip off fooos like you. But you don't accept it. You think I'm just making that up. Lol. That trade wasn't completed, obviously. But it was discussed at length. MDA loves his game.

Glad to see you finally acknowledge Terrence was a bust. But honestly........kinda late on that. You were attempting to grill me almost daily about Terrence, called me names, said I was stupid and ignorant and didn't know what I was talking about when I was telling you how bad Terrence was and we needed to trade him before we lost him for nothing and especially when I told you that Morey was feeding you a line with that third best player bologna. You exploded on me when I told you that. You know, kinda like you're doing now. LOL. Good ole batman, ate lunch with Morey, and swallowed down his words hook, line, and sinker. Like Morey would ever tell anybody that one of the players on his roster is a bust.
