That Horry hip check on Nash led to Amare's and Diaw's suspension the next game, changed that whole series.

I think these guys have a better chance of out muscling us than getting quicker over night. It still let's the Rockets dictate the pace which could also be a mistake.

Just keep raining 3's from 5-10 feet away from the 3pt line and they neutralize the zebras.

we say this everytime regardless of the officiating crew. A true champion will win regardless of the Refs. Even the 2002 Kings....or 2000(?) Blazers or any other series that the masses have claimed were blatantly rigged in favor of a darling.

Favoritism does happen..but so what? No one can change a thing..let alone us fans. Just go out and play focused defense. No rigging crew can take that away from the Rockets.

We're flat out the better team......by a lot. Unlike when CC was injured or coming back...and those games were close with the Spurs putting the charge on at the end...we present way too many match up problems when healthy...The Rockets have come together and are rolling.

    We'll win again tonight.

I think Lou and Harden will always be able to get the lion's share of their calls regardless of the crew working that game. With that, if the Rockets lose, it won't be because of the refs.

The officiating in the 4th quarter if the Rockets are up 8-10 is going to be an abomination

I agree to a certain extent. In close games, it comes down to bad calls sometimes. Thinking back to the Mavs/Rockets in 05 - it could have gone very differently if Yao wasn't called multiple times for phantom moving screens or when Finley was clearly out of bounds, but wasn't called.

One overlooked key in game 1 was the defensive switch of Beverley and Ariza on Aldridge.

Honestly, we were all worried Aldridge would torch us like it was 2014. However, Rockets made the adjustment and switched smaller and quicker defenders on Aldridge. Now, this the brilliant part; this made Aldridge believe he had a mismatch needing to be exploited by posting up, even though Aldridge is at his deadliest when 15 feet away and facing the basket. That's where the Rockets pulled the chair right from under him by swiping the ball from behind and getting multiple steals leading to excellent fast-break opportunities. This strategy effectively neutered Aldridge.
