I found this amusing....

Cuban: "The most underrated element in the NBA is coaching" and the "the #1 killer is hero ball..."

Morey had said that coaches are overvalued... and we've played a LOT of hero ball over the last few years....

This year we got a better coach and are playing less hero ball.... and things are going well...

Seeing as this interview was a number of years ago... was Cuban smarter than Morey has been?

The show works because Max has to present a different perspective than Stephen A. Stephen A. Has supported the Rockets and James Harden all season, even when every one else dismissed Harden as an MVP.

Max is a boxing guy, and he probablly dosent understand basketball as much as Stephen A. But i enjoy his anlogies and his arguments.

 

Shannon Sharpe is hillarious

 

I prefer will cain as stephen a's foil BY FAR.

Will cain is smart and has a legal degree. I disagree with a lot of will cain but no doubt the dude knows how to construct a proper argument. He lays out a clear claim and supports it.

Max uses analogies and goes off on tangents. Sometimes he speaks for minutes before he even makes a claim.

I grew up in a family of lawyers and was always taught that analogies and metaphors are the weakest ways to build arguments. My philosophy professors in college also would discourage analogies and metaphors in our argumentative pieces. You can always poke holes in analogies...


But I get it, its entertainment. It is not true debate

 

When making point of who should be MVP Harden or Westbrook he said when they was playing on OKC harden was on bench and Westbrook was starting, thats all you need to know.

It's like Howard Stern. The people who hated him listened to his radio show back in the day longer then the people who liked him. That said screw Skip Bayless!!

 

First time I've ever seen any part of this show. I used to love Shannon Sharpe on cbs on Sunday morning during football season but my goodness he is awful in this show

Damn, I never thought I would see a clip involving Skip Bayless where he wasn't the most annoying person in it. Is Shannon Sharpe this brutally dumb, loud and obnoxious in every episode? He is making Skip Bayless seem likeable.

 

Jesus. That was hard to watch.

 

Because CBS didn't pay him to cater for ratings.

 

Sharpe is just a LeBron homer...he didn't even talk about the Rockets...he made it all about LeBron somehow..
