Harden was brilliant but he didn't have his best game. His "Spurs killer" self didn't come to fruition tonight.

I'm saying Harden has a kill mode that he hasn't even unleashed yet in the paint. He was brilliant tonight

He killed them in the 1st Q itself. It was RIP then and there

Not sure what you're talking about. Too many bottles tonight?

You know what? I was intending that to be a compliment on how great of a player he is. Just nevermind...

I hear ya. No need for his hostility. He really was in that mode in the first quarter though. But by the time he came back into the game in the 2nd everyone was rolling for the rest of the game he never got back into it. Hopefully he won't have to all series cuz our other players are continuously rolling!

Still looked a little bit hobbled to me. He is getting by on intelligence.

Someone mentioned a fast break where he might have tweaked the ankle again, but I can't find the exact play.

It was a fast break from a steal or turnover. Danny Green fouled him on the shot. I couldn't tell what really happened though, it could have been his knee I thought, I wasn't sure at all though. He seemed to be OK a few moments later.

Really worried about Jim's ankle. He has no time to heal this thing and is visibly hurting.

We get no rest either unless we sweep the Spurs and Warriors get taken to game 5 , 6, or even 7 (lol).

Bad, bad news for Rocket fans. We can't beat this team with a gimped Harden. He is clearly playing decoy right now, and that's not going to be enough.

It's no coincidence that his entire playstyle changed the moment he picked up an injury in the first round. Less attacking, less handling, more standing around, more settling.

Same thing playing out this round. Must have aggravated the same injury from the first round.

You've been hitting the problem on the head for like a week already. I don't think this thing is going to get much better either.... Hope our shooting can make things easier, but the threes aren't going in for The Beard tonight....

He is 1-8, Pau is closing the lane he needs to get his midrange going.

Also, please notice whomever Harden guards they are going to - forcing Harden to play defense and tire him out.
