Man, what is this guy doing on this team? I know we had to make the trade to Utah so we clear some space to get JJ. But now, it doesn't seem like JVG needs his services. Can we just drop his ass and get someone who can contribute to this team?
Every team has a couple of scrubs. If nothing else, he's worth 6 fouls a game. Could come in handy against the lakers.
Who has been our backup center, Asspirin? Hasn't been Cato when Ming went to the bench? And Taylor would slide in as PF?
hmmm the foul idea is kinda interesting..... but maybe just fouls isnt enough...... amaechi needs to become our man with the dirtiest job on the team.....to "accidently" injure the star player(s) on the team we are playing.....thereby increasing our chances of a championship! woooo hooo!! haha jp but it could work...... muahahahaha
I'd like to see Meech get in shape and actually get some PT during the 2nd half of the season. Whenever our entire team gets healthy, think about our potential second team... Meech MoTaylor A. Griff Piatkowski/Cat Mooch I think that is a good 2nd team, assuming Amaechi could turn himself into a servicable center again. You have the perfect blend of defense and offense coming from the 2nd team.
It could very well be why's he's not playing at all. JVG could have him on a training program to drop some pounds and get in shape for the second half of the season or when JVG sees fit. It'd make sense to me. Better to have him play like a scrub in practice then in an actual game where he could cost us the game. And when his scrubness and man t*** are gone, he might actually be useful later on. Ya never know.
He's just another big body on the team. an asset the team can use later on in the year if/when lets say MoT goes down or something of that type happens. I would rather have him on the team than another gaurd.
I'm an out-of-town fan, and haven't had the pleasure of viewing this Meech character w/ my own eyes. Would somebody please give me a brief overview of this his physical appearance. Thanks.
Remeber who he's replacing: the former 1st round draft pick Jason Collier. Choosing between Amaechi and Collier...man that's tough. I guess I'd have to go with the Brit.
