I do not understand why I can drive my POS car a 100 miles and hit 3. I can drive my truck 5 miles and have to spend $5 at the car wash trying to wash them off. Its like they have a radar that allows them to find the nicer vehicles.

I used to like roly-polies. I'd play with them as a kid, touch them and watch them curl up. Then one day my dog died of parvo and the spot on the carpet where she had died was crawling with roly-polies. They're scavengers you know. So, I don't particularly like them anymore.

Fun fact. Woodlice (roly-polies) are crustacians, not insects.

Your car is probably more aerodynamic than your truck. So the love bugs travel with the wind over the car, but hit your truck dead on.

If you think lovebugs are hard on cars... imagine riding from San Antonio or Austin to Houston on a motorcycle. It looks like something from Walking Dead... and hard to clean them off your mesh jacket.

I did the same as a kid until I noticed that they really liked to be in my dog's poop.

I used to like them too then I had one crawl in my ear when I was like 8 years old.

As far as love bugs go, I had to drive to West Columbia last week and my work truck was covered in them.I hit so many and it got so bad I had to stop at a gas station and clean my windshield casue I couldn't see past all the bug guts.
