Value > Need. Seems like a luxury pick

We needed someone who could be a bruiser, Blue was alright, but we needed better.

Understood. The guy doesn't wear down either, plays all 4 quarters. Then again he was playing against big 12 defenses, but they still stacked the line trying to stop him since they knew our o line couldn't pass protect very well. Would have loved Garcia but the Pat's got us so I'm thrilled with this pick. We'd be reaching for o line help with what's available.

I love when the Texans take players I like. This guy is the real deal, doesn't do a lot of catching but he is an old school bruiser, the perfect compliment to Miller. I love it

Now THIS was a great pick. Can't believe he left college to be a late third rounder though. Could not be happier with this pick. The o-line draft was really poor this year.

I think they are drafting the best available player not what we need.

Ricardo smith must have sent newton to do that experimental army supersoldier rehab because line has not been addressed. I like the pick though.

So we just deal with this trash o line for another year? Nick Martin is like having a draft pick.

Really the only true hole is at RT and maybe they have someone they think can man that spot decent enough. I dunno.

Why does the analysis at both NFL.com and espn state that he is a very poor pass blocker?

    I always have liked him.

Again, it's a poor, poor o-line draft. You just have to believe our health is good this year and players take steps forward. Foreman will punch through dudes.

Would you rather have a rookie or some off the street veteran?

Not sure if you've seen his NFL 360 but makes a little more sense after that. But absolutely love this pick. Foreman was an absolute beast last season.

They like/want Jermaine Eluemunor and Julien Davenport is still on the board. Once Garcia was taken by the Patriots, any other lineman would have been a reach.

Lance had Foreman at pick 57 for us on his mock this morning. On the NFL broadcast he mentioned hearing that the Texans were really high on him. It's not a need pick, so it sounds like they really thought he was BPA.

This is what I'm thinking, and again this is just a weak OL class. We don't need to reach, value can be had.

Foreman is better than Blue, and a much better compliment to Lamar Miller.

We still need to draft about 2 olinemen

Well if that rookie was someone like Cam then I would pick that, but at this point they might as well get a retread that gets cut in the next few weeks.
