i am in favor of the this trend. this trend will lead to super-conferences. in a round-about way, it'll lead to a national playoff system for college football (for the super-conferences). the revenue generated by this playoff system (run by the super-conferences) will dwarf March madness (run by the NCAA) it's all about money. 90+% of the revenue generated by this new playoff system will be shared among the conferences, whereas the NCAA pockets 90+% of March madness revenue. what's your opinion? http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A6202-2003Nov5.html
