It seems that what incited the incident should be made public... including the fans name and relationship with the Thunder's team.
Yeah, but unfortunately the "grown man" fan is an owner's son with a silver spoon in his mouth. He lives in Oklahoma so rabid sports opinions are his most complex thoughts. And, he knows that he can curse and probably even spit on a player and not receive any punishment, while the player will be covered on ESPN for retaliating. Finally, if he were at Toyota Center he wouldn't have the cajones to say those kinds of things to another fan. To him, opposing players are just zoo animals that he can taunt. We've all seen the type. And now his taunting earned the player a $25K fine. He wins. And though he's a fat drunk guy with minimal life skills, his gold digging wife will dry his tears with $100 bills after the game. Sorry, I got a little carried away, haha.
Let's run these livestock ****ers out of the arena and return to the H to close it out! We are Houston!!!! Yeeeee
You can always count on the clubber to turn things in a weird direction when things are headed toward D&D levels of hostility. Not sure if it's better or worse but I like it
He plays with emotion but I don't see how any of this will be good. I would predict this will hurt his game more than help, completely distracted.
I don't get why it's ok for a fan to say whatever he wants to a player, but a player can't say anything back. I think this is another example of where the NBA is bending over backwards to accommodate fans when the fans are in the wrong, similar to the "dress code" rule.
Daryl Morey owes Pat 25k. Opened investigation on behalf of Pat. Cost him money. Was he not briefed on what happened? He should have diffused the situation, told Pat that league is not going to like that he went to interact with the fan, and that we don't need this distraction. He should have told Pat to talk with his game in game 4 and shut the fan against up. Let's hope Bev turns this into a positive by opening a can of whup on OKC but he has be fuming inside. Nothing happened to that fat baastid and Pat out money with the league not defending him. He better take that frustration out on the court in a positive manner.
If a player is bickering with a fan, his head isnt in the game. Some of the greatest rivalries in the 80's and 90's were players getting in each others heads. A player shouldn't let a fan distract him like that.
Bev owned them and walked away with the W Now the fat, uneducated, basement dwelling OKC fans can look for further reasons to hate on Bev
