I too want to see more of our version of the "death lineup" with Ryno running center and Ariza at the four. I don't think the Thunder could keep up with us or stop us if every man on the court can drain threes.

I want to see more of the defensive intensity we saw in game 1. Also, don't give Ryan such a long leash. We brought him here to hit threes and rebound. If he's not hitting and his man eats him up again then he's not doing his job and we need to get him off the court.

Pat Bev should play like what the OKC fans thinks he plays like. Dirty and intentionally trying to hurt Westbrook.

When Anderson launches a shot . .. I am now holding my breath and hoping someone gets the rebound.

what strategy? they're a one man show, its not hard to figure out. defend russ 1 on 1 with some double teams, stick to everyone else, box out rebound, run the offense, win the series. they didnt play defense ore rebound well last games. let russ avg a triple double it wont do okc much good

i dunno about hack andre, he is having his best career po's series and 'no shot defensive wing-turned-lights out shooter' somehow. but letting harden play off the ball more is something they should look into. pick and rolling anus cancer till he cradles to the ground and cries is another good strategy. should be able to get like 20pts off that before they pull him out.

the best strategy imo is making most of their wide open shots harden gives them. we couldve won game 3 if they did that. most games in regular season rockets can win just off of their 3pt shooting alone. if they're not gonna play defense or rebound they can still beat most teams just by making their easy shots.

if they repeat game 2 and 3, not only will it go to 7 games but there's no guarantee to make it out the first round. game 3 and 4 should be dominatin games.

Continue to have Harden Drive the ball as the "don't touch him strategy" wins every time. Winner.

And continue to double on Wesbrook and force the Thunder role players to win the game. Winner.

This series is simply taking advantage of the odds. It's less about strategy to me. And more math.

Westbrook has not played well when facing Harden. I'd like to see Harden switch to him on defense a few times. Also, he doesn't defend Harden well, so run a few P n Rs with Beverley so that Westbrook can be showcased on defense.

I don't think it's been on purpose, but when Bev gets the ball on the high post (specifically the left side), he seems to know what to do with it. Maybe run a few plays to get him the ball there when we're running dry on outside shots.

We've gotta get Capela some easy baskets. I drew up a double pick and roll to keep Adams off the basket when the lob is thrown.

It would look like this in motion:

The goal is to get a lob where Oladipo is the defender. As tall as dipo is, Capela can get up higher, especially if Capela is running at the basket and dipo makes a last second decision to guard Capela. Adams should be out of the play, you want Roberson to stay with Harden. Harden would be going to his left so if the play doesn't work, at least you've got Harden vs Roberson going to the basket. Oladipo could defend Harden as well, but then there's an easy alley-oop to Capela. The two players on the outside can also bail Harden out at any point during that play. Gibson should be taken out of the play, but if you catch Westbrook cheating up for a steal, Bev can back cut and use Capela's presence to get himself open on the other side. The play should only take a few seconds, but might interfere with their PnR defense they've played. They look good on PnRs so we should look to hit them with an alteration like this or some other way that might work even better.

I agree, let Bev bring it up to put pressure on Westbrook or whoever is guarding him.

It should not be too hard to make Taj Gibson ineffective again. The trick is to keep him out of a rhythm early. If he starts poor you can pretty safely put Anderson back on him without worrying about him getting abused. If that means subbing Anderson out early for a guy like Harrell when Gibson checks in late in the first, then I'd be ok with that. Harrell's not great on D but he's not a stiff like Anderson either.

The way Anderson goes, you can usually tell after the first five minutes if he is gonna be a positive contributor or not.

I thought one of our strongest strategies in game 3 was to just casually dribble into a shotclock violation when we were down 4 points. Hopefully we can do that again.

    Mercilessly attack the rim .

We need to get our C's involved again with the PnR .

Last game was truly a bad game for James . I wonder if he was 100 percent .. Didn't he tumble into the scorers table after that hard hip check ?

OKC has had good strategy the last 2 games . They've turned James into a scorer . 1) it takes more energy for James to score. 2) he gets much more physical punishment taking it to the rim. 3) sometimes his shot is off

James right now ... To me , looks more like 14-15 James than 16-17 James . He's got to find a way to distribute

OKC knows if James can keep finding Ryan, trev and pay for open 3's and Clint and nene for dunks then the series is over.

Keep lettin' the 3's fly and guard everyone but Russ.

With the shooters we have and the volume we shoot, they will eventually start falling. And when that happens, Russ won't be able to keep up.
