Obviously the fan said something not to the liking of Beverley - who is a pretty tough and thick-skinned guy. So it must have been very inappropriate. I don't think Bev did anything wrong here - confronting someone in a non violent way should not be against the rules.
Definitely. In the video on espn you can see the fan definitely say some words when bev was on the ground. This is what I hate about fans that think they can just run their mouth, especially being disrespectful just because they're "protected". No way bev reacts this way with common game to game heckle.
I really hope the fan (esp that son) said something inappropriate. Let the country know that these so called "underdogs" are scum.
If you want to categorize the entire OKC fan base on the actions of one fan, than you are just as bad as that fan.
Looks like he was asking Beverley to join the Thunder in the offseason. I can see why Beverley would be upset. Rockets asked the league to review the incident for tampering.
That's actually for player's protection from the crowd. But for certain players... Maxwell, Artest, Boogie, Beverley, etc. I think the crowd needs protection.
When players react like that it went along the lines of personal and nothing to do with basketball Racist, family, whatever take your guess
I don't think the fan said the N w That's why I wanted the Rockets to sweep OKC because their fans are annoying.
