What's with all this talk of possible disciplinary measures?? Apparently he exchanged words with fans and security stepped in, but it's a non-issue righ? http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/...nt-fan-houston-rockets-guard-patrick-beverley
This article is stupid, they can't even spell his name right as they spelled his name "Beverly"....its not like they don't have infinite amount of resources to check proper spelling...and its not like their names aren't on the backs of their jerseys every single game....
Doesn't look like the Bev did anything, but the reaction came when the fan said something that upset Bev. Why would the NBA suspend him for his reaction to what the fan said?
At the time it happened it looked like Pat popped up and immediately called a referee over, pointing at a fan. Seemed like the fan may have touched him while on the baseline. Since Pat pointed it out so quickly I can't believe there was anything more and it didn't appear that the arena personnel or security even got involved.
The article says an incident after game, is this different than when PatBev had words under basket with fan, Or is ESPN confused again
Glad he didn't take **** and seems like a non-issue since Rockets called for review, though that could be a way to minimize a penalty.
Would be a bad look for the NBA, but I hope they reveal what the fan said to him. No better way to deal with racism than to take the anonymity of it away. Have your face on a new screen with your quote below your headshot.
Giving some fat middle aged drunk fan attention, shame on you Pat Bev. It's also kind of annoying how security tries to remove the opposing player but not the belligerent 'no-one-cares-who-you-are' fan.
