I'm not going to agree or disagree with all of the calls by the officials. The only thing I can say is that the Rockets could take the game out of their hands so bad calls don't matter. I don't believe that officials are intentionally against the Rockets but sometimes they get caught up in all kinds of things that can ever so slightly tilt the way they see the game.

That being said they make mistakes both ways. There was an out of bounds call that was off of Ariza that they called off of OKC etc. They aren't perfect.

But the bottom line is that those calls good or bad are out of the Rockets control. What is in their control is the way they play the game and execute or not. Even if it was the worst officiating in the world there is no point in bemoaning the calls when the Rockets could have still won the game had they done a few things differently.

I'm sure I'll still complain about calls and yell at the television and be upset when they happen, but it's wasted energy.

They have not played well the past two games and people seem to be fine with this loss tonight. If they continue to play uphill for most of the games with lackadaisical defense, they may see themselves going back home down 3-2.

If there's a silver lining here, it's that the Rockets nearly won a game they had no business winning and the game OKC was likeliest to win was always going to be Game 3. If they win Game 4, this series will practically be over. That's the key game. If things go badly on Sunday, we can all freak out then.

My wife and I were laughing during the WB missed FT because of the OKC crowd.

When he got fouled, OKC crowd was like "MVP MVP MVP...." and then BRICK.

They were awfully quiet after that on his FTS.

    lulz....

That crowd was really nervous towards the end. If you looked at them after tha Harden miss people were just letting out a sigh of relief instead of celebrating the win.

Definitely wasn't, with his 1 free throw. Also allowed Westbrook to blow by him a number of times down the stretch (I know it's difficult to keep him in front, but I'd rather have him taking long 3s than midrange or getting to the hoop). He and Ariza need to show up Sunday (and Anderson, Lou, and Gordon need to keep it up).

In spite of all the Thunder's hot shooting, this game was very winnable still. The offensive rebound given up there at the end was a killer...inexcusable. The final shot by Jimmy...we all knew it was coming down to him win or lose.If it goes in (I thought it was) we are all rejoicing. It took everything the Thunder had, their top game to win by 2. Anything can happen in the NBA but I'd be surprised if we don't win the next two. Would be nice to actually play the first quarter/half and not give up 60+ pts.

Reminder that we lost a game to that Dallas team a few years ago that was way worse than this OKC squad.

If the Rockets take the fight to them then they'll win. If they come out like they've done twice now then they can expect to go back to Houston 2-2.

Look again, we actually didn't play that well overall. Bev just went nuts.

Honestly, we've not played a really good game overall this post season.

Turnovers leading to big deficit on the road and Bev are why we lost this game.

Shot didn't fall which I can live with. He was feeling it and we struggled tonight when their defense was set. Our offense would have turned into an ISO play where James, EG or Lou would have to create. It really didn't help that Ryno wasn't dropping 3's to keep the defense honest. So many questionable calls in my opinion without sounding like a complete homer but I'll leave those out of it.

I agree we would have lost if we went into OT. Tweak the mistakes, come out with more fire Sunday and close it here.

Yeah, it's never a good thing when you have 3 turnovers and 1 point. That killed us. At least he got 7 rebounds though.

I'm throwing all the averages out the window. Fisher shot 60% from 3s against the rockets in '12-'13 playoffs. I can see that with Roberson. Ariza always shoot like crap in the playoffs. Beverley shoots slightly worse in the playoffs. The only player that has the same avg. in the playoffs as the regular season is Harden.

Lol, since you have to just flat lie and say that we took "poo from 30+ twice" when any dipshit in the universe who either watched the game or is capable of reading the play by play knows the last shot was right at the 25 foot line, or that the first was a 29 footer taken after inboundung with 7 seconds on the clock and that his previous 2 attempts had resulted in 6 points...

I don't know what to say.

    Actually wait I do.

Any clown who rails on the Rockets for taking a 3 pointer when down 2 in the closing seconds of a road playoff game is an idiot.
